Hello, everyone.
My name is Zyrem. The majority of you don't know me, but I've been a member of this guild for a couple of years now. As you can all guess from the title, I've come bearing bad news. I have just received word that my RL good friend and brother James Tooley a.k.a. metalmariogc was killed by a car on his way to his job this morning a litte after 7 a.m.
This news came as a huge shock to me and even now my hands are shaking as I type this out. The world lost a spectacular human being and it will never be the same again.
I owe the whole of my existence on Gaia to metalmariogc. He helped me set up my account and get started on the basics here. He helped me acquire lot of good items and even introduced me to this very guild. Outside of the site, we worked together, hung out on a regular basis, got into countless debates over music we liked, played Super Smash Bros. to the break of dawn, etc, etc.
He was a great individual and a fantastic friend. In the end and despite all the sadness permeating the atmosphere right now, I am so extremely grateful to know him and to call him my friend. I hope you will all join me in wishing a fellow Gaian a fond farewell.
