Are there any other manufacturers out there like ALTAiR?

So, I just recently bought these two sexy beasts:









And I'm wondering if there are any other companies out there like ALTAiR (subsidary of Alter, which I'm sure many of you have heard of) which specializes in dude figures. Yuri and Flynn (from above) are 1/6 scale PVCs, which I've hardly EVER seen done in male form. ALTAiR is a relatively new branch of Alter, so they haven't put out much yet, and I was looking for other PVCs to hold me over in the meantime.

It's not too hard to find Revoltech dudes, and a few Figmas (mostly Kamen Rider lawl), but not PVCs. Square Enix has their own line of Play Arts figures, which are pretty nice for only being $30/$40 apiece, and they do have resin statues of some of their more popular characters (HI CLOUD AND SEPHIROTH -___-;;;;; ), but I'd love to see some more obscure characters get the awesome 1/? scale love.

tl;dr link me good-looking dude PVCs? I like RPG game characters, but really, if a PVC is super awesome-looking I'd probably get it regardless of my familiarity with the reference series.

There's all of the CROWSxWORST stuff, and Art of War make Berserk statues.

This Dio statue from di molto bene is looking incredible- I have a preorder put down, because DAT FUKKEN BACK.

di molto bene have seriously gorgeous figures coming up. It's worth keeping an eye out for them.

Apparently AmiAmi likes DAT BACK, too. XD It is a pretty awesome statue, though. And not terribly expensive, either. O.o Hmmmm.

As for me, I don't mind teenager statues and can even handle a LITTLE girliness in my men, so long as it's not too bad, but I don't like playing guess-the-gender and I'm not a fan of shotas. Unfortunately, that's what seems to be dominating the male figure industry ATM. (Well, that's not really true. The male figure industry itself is pretty varied, it's just that it's really SMALL. I get tired of sifting through 47308493 Queen's Blade figures just trying to find figures of male characters that I may not know existed. Hence, I made this post thinking it'd be nice if I could just do a search filter by a company that I know specializes in male figures.)

I was watching the progress on the prototype and even in greyscale, that back was the most incredible, impressive lat spread I have ever seen sculpted, holy s**t. I had to have one the moment I saw he went up. What's awesome is that these statues are in scale with Super Action Statues, so while they're not huge or anything, they're incredibly detailed.

Same here, man. I'm alright with a few pretty men, but ultimately, I like the bara more than anything. It's a difficult subject area to collect, since pfffft, shota and girls sell infinitely better. I think it's why I love the cluster of Jojo releases at the moment!

There are a few nice FotNS statues, the Scenery collection. I think HLJ has them?

Also, if you can find them, Portrait of Pirates has some cool-looking guys in it.

But apart from Altair and individual garage kits, I don't think many others specialise. It's worth keeping an eye out on individual lines and releases.

That Ace figure is awesome; the Strong version, that is, the one with the guns. Too bad the preorder slots are filled, though. I want to press myself against his abdominal core. D: I guess every other OP fan feels the same, though - hence the order stop on all of my usual figure ordering pages. Still, I did just plunk down ~$230 for my newest PVCs, so maybe it's for the best. Hopefully they'll do a re-release or something in the future.

.......still staring at that Dio............... I might pre-order him, actually, but AmiAmi keeps giving me this ridiculous error message so I'll have to get back to it later.

Glad to see you're still around! This guild is kind of inactive lately (O.o), but I still check back here for your photo updates. ^^;;
