I make abstract hip-hop music concerning the fabric of human existence and subterranean combat of the human psychosis over reality and synthesis of organisms, oh, and bitches. Can't forget the bitches.
On a more serious note, I'm actually an abstract hip-hop artist. An excellent example of this if you're not familiar is Aesop Rock. Uhm, not only abstract, I mean, I do have some writing over concrete ideas. I'm actually getting quite a bit of money for Christmas, all of which will go into studio equipment, and I should be able to release a full-length, solo album done by myself piece by piece. I've got journals filled with material, emotions ranging from depression to love, to hate and apathy.
I feel that seeing as this is an artistic community, some of you wouldn't mind trying something new. I know the genre gets a horrible reputation due to the radio trash, yadda yadda, that's not the essence of my foundation. Anyways, enough ranting.
I'm Tyler, I rap with the name Platypus. It's a long story.

Okay so I haven't posted anything in here yet cause I suck at these sorts of things but I guess I should at least post something, right? Ahaha....
I like to draw stuff. I can mainly draw female things. I've been working on portraiture mainly recently to try get better at realism. So far, I wouldn't say I'm there, semi-realism sure. I'm working on my art, going back to the basics. Working on natural backgrounds, people, animals, etc.
I like to write stuff. I've got way too many half started stories sitting around and one even has a sequel half written >_> Yeah I get ahead of myself some times but everything was planned, I just haven't finished it yet. I like to do fantasy stories mainly, but I do other genres a lot too.
I like to take photos of stuff. I have a few photos that people have shown interest in purchasing, but I don't do much of it anymore, mainly cause my camera is sick. Yes, sick. It's an SLR, not a digital one, but something's wrong with it and I can't get it to keep going =( Buying a new one is too freaking expensive and money's hard to come by.
I like to make music. I've played almost all instruments in my life. I'm not very good at some as I make it sound like a strangled chicken, but most things I can play. I used to make music on the computer too but eventually stopped doing that cause my computer sucked.
Most of my stuff is done while listening to music, of some form or another. Music is awesome and people who make it totally have my respect.
On a side note, I read "Synthesis of orgasms" and had to re-read that >_>

I can't remember if I've done this or not, so I'm going to do one just in case.
Hello, my name is Himako or Himmie. My friends call me a general artist because I have my hands in about everything.
I dance, mainly ballroom dances like the waltz and foxtrot. I also do pointe ballet, some hip hop and latin, and belly dancing. With my love of dancing came a love for music. I've played the flute and piccolo for the last eighteen years, the piano for the last ten, and I'm beginning to learn how to play the violin now. Singing is something I've done for the last eighteen years as well.
Art-wise, I suck at drawing. I try, mainly an anime-style, but I usually hate how those turn out. I paint and work with ceramics. My art teachers like them, and I make a good bit of money selling my works. Costume making and jewelry making are fun for me. I have a wild imagination, and making my own clothes and costumes and jewelry allows that imagination to run free.
I've acted before, in a school play, and I was recently casted as Christine for a local acting company's version of Phantom of the Opera. I've done work behind the scenes as well, as a producer and stage manager to the sound booth.
My true love, however, is writing. I've been writing since I was four, and nineteen years later, it's still my favorite way of relaxing. I started with poetry, some of which I've since lost and some that have been published. I also write short stories, novellas, and I'm just completed my second novel. My first novel is actually in the process of final editing for publication, so I'm super excited about that.
