Was hoping to have a set Rank Structure

I was hoping to have a set rank structure completed for the guild considering it would appear we are still in need of one.. After long debate ive looked into multiple different methods and the one ive presented to you here seems to have worked the best and made most sense. Course, mind you, ive had to tweak it a little to meet Zomg gameplay.

Here are ranks as Follows:


Remember...All promotions are subject to withdraw. In other words, if you misbehave we are demoting you. Follow Gaia's ToS and Forum Rules and you should do just fine.

P.S. would like a word of approval captain before i post this as an actual guild rule

this is actually a good idea, but what about officer ranks?

i brainstormed that too, and considering that the guild is Limited to the rank of Captain the only other ranks that should be possible for officers grades would ba 2nd-1st lieutenant, and vice-captain. Which i think should all undergo approval from the current captain and vice-captains considering these are positions of authority.

we could of course eliminate the different pay grades in Lieutenant and just keep it as lieutenant, much like the navy does. meaning the rank of Crew would fill in as lieutenant.

So, according to this I would be a Sarge. I am almost level 7 in zOMG. As such, how would I go about getting said rank here.

good question, i personally will be opening a additional forum thread specifically for user profiles. within said profile you can post all of your guild info including your rank and awards ect ect. (ill be working diligently on awards, ribbons, ect. throughout next week) you can also post anything personal or RP info you might feel like sharing (if you havent looked yes we RP here.) Also, ranks wont just be used as flamboyant bragging rights, they will be inducted into the guild as a real form of chain of command. So you sir, being a master sergeant would be in charge of passing down request, complaints (hoefully not too many), or any other issues from lower ranked members to your superior (your sergeant major).
Furthermore, i will also be assisgning divisions, squads, and so forth to make sure the chain of command is effective. Each Division will of course have its on Forum page. but this is all in the future, i am currently working with the captain as we speak to make all of this into reality within the next few weeks so we can be a fully operational guild.
