Any of you still play classic games?

NOTE: If you do not know how to emulate/play old console games, I cannot tell you. On gaia anway...as it may violate TOS (Dunno). Therefore, don't ask.

Any of you still emulate old games regularly? I do, ranging from ATARI to much more recent consoles. I WOULD buy the actual hardware, and have, but it is sometimes hard to get ones hands on. Also, you can play emulated ones online but generally can't with the real deal. That's another thing: I am big netplayer. Are you?

I played Seiken Densetsu 3, Mario All Stars, and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 online this week. It was sweet. ^^

i love the classics, i have emulated in the past but i prefer to have the phisical items. i have everything from nes to the new systems. my favorite games include Demons crest-snes, legend of zelda-nes, earthworm jim-sega, jurassic park -game gear, mystical ninja-n64, as for the new systems i have too many favorites to post.

The only emulator I really use is SNES.
And I used it mostly for Earthbound and Sailor Moon.
I recently bought Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for the 360. While it's not the same as playing on my Genesis (That I still own), it has 40+ titles. Some of which I don't own. Some of those games are hella frustrating. But it's nice to be able to play Shining Force again.

I used to emulate Metroid on SNES, but I usually play on my Sega Mega Drive irl instead now. I love old games, especially the Sega and Nintendo ones! whee I have actually been thinking about emulating some SNES again though! heart

Ive beaten chrono trigger for every system it's been released for so far, beaten it emulated. just never beat it on the dreamcast self-boot. too much lag. love shining force. still play my booted dreamcast games.(prefer to have the real games.) currently emulating snes,nes,genisis,psx,ds,64, and gba. currently switching between playing skyrim & tales of destiny. (I miss the golden days when japan released more games in america than american companies!)

Dreamcast is awesome! I had one when I was little, but it broke sad So great games! Jet Set Radio!
