Alphonse began to throw up into the toilet and Otika held him steady. His hand began to pat the teen's back gently while he watched the contents that resided within Alphonse's stomach expel harshly. However, he noted that there was not much. After a few minutes, the fluids began to come out clear which meant that Alphonse did not have much food in his digestive system. Did what Otika give him in the morning the only meal Alphonse has eaten? 'I might have to work on his eating habits... This is why his skin is so pale and sickly... Perhaps I should set up a eating schedule...?' The gentle pats became light rubs in hope that it would help make the other feel better, if only a little bit. When he saw little droplets rolling down Alphonse's face, Otika blinked and realized the teen was crying.
"..." However, he kept silent about the matter. This must be very trying on the teen. Addressing the silent tears would only make the shame worse. Not to mention he was vomiting... That would make any person -male or female, young or old- burst into tears.
When Alphonse finally spoke, Otika stopped his hand and gave the other a concerned smile. "I understand, but let's worry about you for now. Do you feel any better? Or do you still feel the need to vomit?" He asked, straightening the teen halfway up just in case. "If you want, I can get you some paper towels to wipe your face and some water to rinse your mouth."
...Then that is enough to complete my heart, my soul, and my being.
It didn't take long for Alphonse to finish emptying his stomach and when he had nothing left he merely stood there letting Otika hold him as he breathed. He was a bit impressed that the doctor didn't try to talk to him through it and had merely offered comforting pats to his back. No one had done that for him since he was young and it made him ache for the days past when he could merely be a kid.
