The Legends of Xerxes

Although the country was poor, and few knew how to read, the ones who knew Alchemy that lived in Xerxes were already split. Some had decided alchemy was God's blessing to them, and that they were the destined beings to use it. Others felt that Alchemy should be non-destructive, and healing was its main purpose. This split the country in three; one third moved east, and formed the country known as Xing, where rentanjutsu was created. The other formed Amestria, where Alchemy became an art of war. The third remained in Xerxes, and were created into Philosopher's stones, thus ending the mortal life they had once held. Now we come to today. The Homunculi have been defeated, along with the being known as Father. Greed still remains, and is now the ruler of Xing. The Flame Alchemist, Roy Mustang, is now the Fuhrer, ruler of Amestria. But another war is brewing; a new group is creating homunculus, and lots of them. The originals are back with new bodies(except Greed, who is still alive), and there are much more new ones. Normally, the Fullmetal Alchemist would be able to help along with his brother; but they both disappeared after the fight! So now we are brought to war. These new Homunculi are coming from the direction of Xerxes, so let's go Alchemists! Put an end to these atrocities!

Brief Description of Biography(Between 100-500 words): As a child, Haru despised alchemy. Growing up in a large city, he found no use for it, and never would. Upon seeing his family slaughtered by two alchemists who had gone AWOL, he changed his mind. He -needed- to learn alchemy in order to survive. He spent many months in the wild, with only two books on alchemy and a lighter. He progressed very quickly and managed to finally learn alchemy, with a few small failures, but eventually learned the abilities of Nitrogen. Many state alchemists attempted to recruit him, but he always refused. He would never be used in any way. He now journeys across the land, running from the military and trying to not get involved in the war.
Personality: Haru is very aloof. He could care less about life or death, and is relatively lazy. When it comes to the few friends he makes, he protects them with his life. His only real passion in life is to live into the next day.
Other: Nitrogen is the most abundant element in our atmosphere. It makes up 78% of the air we breathe. If nitrogen is put into liquid form, it will instantly freeze anything it touches. Also, combined with oxygen, hydrogen, and carbon, it creates trinitrotoluene, known worldwide as TNT, or dynamite. Nitrogen is used in many chemical formulas, including dicyanoacetylene, which produces the hottest known flame to man.
