Ember slowly reached up and brushed the tears from her eyes, and drying off her cheeks, kissing one of them, softly and lightly, she held her sister close. No one would take her away.

Mysty smiles some and kisses one of her sister's cheeks. she rubs her eyes and cheeks. she felt a bit better now

Ember smiled softly. 'I am sorry, Sister... You deserve to be upset with me... I promise to never leave your side again....'

Mysty nods some. "you don't have to be by my side ever single second. you can have time for yourself. just don't forget about me or keep me outta the loop when things happen. i don't like being told things everyone knew for a long time.

Ember nodded slowly, she hugged her. Too scared to let go.

Ember held onto her and rested her head on Mysty's shoulder.

Gene walked up slowly behind the newcomer until he was right next to him. "Speaking of out of the loop who, are you?" gene asks turning to look at the new person in their area. After all this mall for as much as they could see was just covered in sand even the front.

Nikolas didn't flinch, nor did he seem the least bit bothered by the question. "My name is Nikolas Tanner Rihara. I got in here through a small entrance, using my shadows I just barely slipped through. I am just trying to find a place to stay for a little. There is a sandstorm brewing outside and I didn't want to get stuck in it."

Ember listened, trying to make sure that this traveler was not hostile.

Mysty looks over at the new guy. She had been too busy crying to have even noticed him till now. she listened to him. "he isn't hostile...." she says softly. She was able to tell. people gave off good and bad vibes. his wasn't bad

"Alright, feel free to stick with us, but were leaving as soon as the storm passes." Gene said simply as he walked to the girls tilting his head some as he looked to mysty. "Ya know you were more than welcome to come, and if we dont say so, you can still come I'm not gonna split up a family." Gene said hoping she could tell that he was sincere in his words. "Anyways theres a large water cash a bit into the mall, we've still got all the food in the freezers thats still good, and the fire well we can start another if it goes out." Gene said turning back to the newcomer Nikolas.
