beneath the roof there is a bed;
but still not weary are our feet,
still round the corner we may meet
a sudden tree or standing stone
that none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower, earth and grass,
let them pass, let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
pass them by, pass them by!
let them pass, let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
pass them by, pass them by!
Still round the corner there may wait
a new road or a secret gate
and though we pass them by today
tomorrow we may come this way
and take the hidden paths that run
towards the moon or to the sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut, and sloe,
let them go, let them go.
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well, fare you well!
let them go, let them go.
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well, fare you well!
Home is behind, the world ahead,
and there are many paths to tread,
through shadows to the edge of night,
until the stars are all alight..."

In a world ravaged by war, senseless fighting over misunderstood words, unthinking actions, and assumptions never made clear are constant. As if the people of this world have been pulled tight like a harp string, ready to snap at the least provocation. The world's name is Arashio, The Emerald Forest, but due to this never ending bloodshed people now call it Shiokade, or the Forest of Blood.
As people die by thousands the gods and goddesses of Arashio put their hand down to attempt to end this useless battle. Each touch a being, bestowing upon them great power, but also two unintended curses. Those with the divine touch upon them cannot make their home anywhere they must travel until they die, bestowing the divine upon another, or find the way to end this fighting. And the other curse depends on the person.
There is a chance, though, one bright star upon this world covered in darkness. The Goddess of Light and Peace, Futsuho, entrapped by the God of War, Kidoryu. If those Touched can free the goddess then all will return as it once was.
Will you embark upon this journey, knowing that there will be no rest until it ends?
