(Prp)Unexpected (Nyko X Emily)

Nyko watched with a grin as a giant dragonfly buzzed by, crouched down in the brush, tail wagging slowly behind him as he waited until just the right moment to snap out at the thing. The playful male pouting as he missed the winged buzzing creature. Following the multi eyed insect as he snaked his way through the large trees, trying for a second and a third time to catch it.

Nyko knew he'd never catch the critter, but it never hurt to try. He often had fun chasing down prey, more to see if he could catch it then for the fact that he was hungry. "Tsk, tricky little dragonfly.."

Emily was waiting in her usual spot at the bottom of a grassy hill overlooking the fields, the female had become accustom every day a human would come out and give her goodies, like meat and... well, meat. Emily was not raised by humans, but she was interested enough to wander a little closer when one came around, and why would she want to eat it when it gives her food every day! this was a great set up!

but her silent waiting was interupted by a nearby male pounding around trying to catch what looked like i bug.
cocking her head to the side slightly, before she heaved her body up to stand on her feet, head ducking low as she wandered out toward the male.
"your not very good at that are you."

"Uh?" nyko stumbled upon hearing the females words, huffing and leaning against a large tree, the thing tilting a bit under his weight. A sloppy grin painted his face as he panted for air. "Haha..I'm good, oh I'm very very good. Mr' Dragon is better though, at least today he's better! I've managed to catch some on occasion you know, as quick and tricky as they are, now if I had wings...oooh If I had wings I'd never miss a one! I'd always catch the little darts because I'd be quick enough to do it with wings. Feh they couldnt escape into the air either, going straight up like they do.." natsu muttered a bit at the end, blinking wide bright blue eyes slowly at the female before him.

She was colorful, and seemed...what was it...curious? Or was she maybe just mad at him, everyone seemed to be mad. Maybe he was just too playful sometimes, who knew.."Who are you?" he asked curiously, tilting his head from one side to the other as if he could remember her from somewehre, though he knew he'd remember someone that colorful!

Emily just stared at him as he continued to ramble, her eyes only growing wider in... amazement... his brain worked really fast to be able to pump out all those words.
at the question directed to her, Emily's head jerked back a but, lips curling back slightly in a soft smile before she replied "I'm Emily. and did you say your name was mr.Dragon?" she asked, having misunderstood his rambling.

"Emily! Pretty name, it matches your colors..did you know your colorful? Never seen so many colors.." natsu rambled on awed, shaking his head and tilting his head in the other direction, blinking as he thought. Huh...name name name, game same..Oh! "Name! You mean mine? Yeah I have a name, its um, starts with...." he huffed after a moment, tail swishing behind him.

"Well its not Mr. Dragon thats for sure!" he giggled softly, fidgeting from one foot to the other as he suddenly remembered "Name! I'm Nyko..sounds like name..or bingo..or nameo!" the male laughed moving forwards to nudge her gently. "And your emily, and I'm nyko, and its nice to meet you emily."

Emily continued to stare at him as he talked again. blinking a few times when he stops talking, before she snickers softly. "you are so silly, why do you talk so much?"
she asked, tilting her head a little, bowing it down softly when he nudged her.

"Because I have absolutely no control over how much or little I talk! You should hear me sometimes by myself..they say I'm..ah..what was it..Hy..hop..hip..Hyper! Yes yes Hyperactive, something like that, always on the move and talking, and breathing, and walking.." he groaned shaking his head and physically shutting his mouth, he stared at the ground and took a few deep breaths.

Glancing up at her after he'd gotten some control over his mouth. "You look like the dragonfly! No not like it..but..very pretty, dragonflys have all those colors in their wings too, very very bright" he blurted out without thinking, groaning again and headbutting the tree next to him..."Gaaah...No control"

her smile faded, to be replaced by surprise when he said that about her colors. glancing back over to look at her tail and back, seeing the colors he was talking about. before she returned her gaze to him looking flattered, and embarrassed. "o oh... you really think so?" didn't really think much about how she looked, it was just always how she looked.

"Of course I think so!" nyko said with a sharp nod and a grin "I know colors, lots and lots of colors..and I know dragonflies! All sorts all sizes, all tricky.." he said with a shifty look "All pretty though, and your certainly pretty, dont you think your pretty emily? Prettier then me for sure" the rex laughed, tail wagging a bit in excitement.

"Lots of things are pretty you know, you should look around more often. I'm sure you'd see...Your kinda shy huh? Very nice though, nice and shy, it's wonderful I think. Not all loud and odd like I am" nyko sighed slightly glancing up into the trees.."Oh..I forgot...why are we here again?" he meant in the spot they were, though asking why they existed would be fun!

"oh, well I just never really though about it before" she admitted "and I think your coloring is very nice, its calming" she admitted, though she grinned and chuckled a little "even though you seem to have allot of energy"
glancing back around her shoulder when he asked why she was here, Emily, swished her tail, then looked back over at the Male Rex.
"oh, well... you see" she's not sure if she should tell other Rex about her little treat giving human, they might try and steal her treats or even hurt the human... but this Rex was so nice, and he was really sweet in saying she was pretty.
"a human comes around every day and feeds me some meat here. I come to meet her around this time."

"Ah...calming?" he blinked, normally he never associated that word with himself, high energy, nutty..rambling..but calming? Nyko looked himself over curiously, hurming and hawing as he realized he was made up of entirely grey's and whites. "I suppose..your right. Hah I am a calming color, hee hee clashes with my personality a bit doesnt it?" he grinned toothily.

His grin easing a bit as she went on nervously about her..ah..human friend. Humans humans, he'd never had much to do with humans, usually just had himself and the dragonflies. "Ahh, I see! She sounds interesting, like...like a fun little thing. Your lucky to have a human who gives you meat treats, must taste better then some of the thigns we catch out here huh?"

"yeah they are" she admitted "and savaging can take so much time and not bring anything up" she hesitated, lowering her head a bit "don't tell anyone I told you! okay? this is my secret. and uh... don't eat the human either."
she was sure he wouldn't but she just wanted to make sure.

Nyko nodded swiftly, snickering quietly with his new found secret. "I know, always so much time hunting and that leaves so little time for fun, and chickens are so small and hard to catch...I..haha I think I fail at being a hunter" he grinned lowering his own head to hear her a bit better. "No worries..It'll be our secret kay? My lips are sealed I swear!" another bouncy excited nod followed his sentence, eyes widening slightly at the mention of eating the girl.
"Unless the girl happens to be a dragonfly or a chicken...I sorta doubt I'll wanna eat her, shes not a goat either is she?" nyko asked for the sake of double checking, maybe he'd heard it wrong..human and all. Then again when did goats and chickens ever give out meat treats?
