This is the place to leave your reviews for any shopping services you've used. :] Celga, Rakuten's shipping service, Shopping Mall Japan, or any other such business.

----
Remember the tips from the 'Review Rules n' Guidelines':

" 1) Try and include the following aspects: time frame, communication, and price.

The first two are easy- time frame simply means let us know how long the process(es) took: a day for the order to go through, two for the invoice, a week for it to ship to you, 12 days overall, etc.

Communication would be how quickly the store got back to you, how well they answered questions, etc. Customer service is a big part of it, or vice versa...

Price, I'd say, is necessary. Yes, society says that telling people how much something costs is 'tacky', but in this case, it's more helpful improper. The total price is what we're after, but the more specific, the better. (Price of the kigu itself, service fee, shipping expense, etc.) And including your country would also be helpful. 3nodding

Still, if you're not comfortable sharing the price, that's alright as well. No grudges shall be held--promise. heart "

So I ordered from Mayfair (a shop on Rakuten) using Rakuten's international shipping service.

Let's start at the beginning: I made my order on the 14th (of this moth, of course ;P), and a minute or two later, got the automated email from Rakuten confirming my order.

It was all. In. Japanese. Luckily, I'm handy with a translator, and a few characters in the email, so I got the gist of it-- it had my order details and whatnot.

For four days after that, I waited in a terrified limbo, as I had no idea what to expect from this new form of ordering. (You should've seen me my first time when I ordered from Gmarket. Haha.)

Anyway, on the 18th, I got an email (in English, thankfully) from Mayfair wherein they thanked me for my patronage and said they'd sent out the kigu earlier that day. C: (I believe I did a dance in my seat when I read that.) It was at that point I checked my bank account and found out they're finally taken my payment, as I'd still had all my money for the previous four days.

The next thing I knew, only TWO DAYS LATER on the 20th, I was signing a tiny card with my name on it, and getting the envelope from my mailman with my mouse kigu in it. heart

And as you may've guessed-- it was FANTASTIC : D I love my kigu so much.

Oh, and it cost me $53 total. 30 for my kigu, and another 23 for the shipping. It was SO CHEAP. o.o

Overall, I'd say I'd definitely order using Rakuten's international shipping service again--in fact I will be, when I get my Korilakkuma kigu. The whole process, from ordering to getting my kigu took just 6 days (the shipping itself only took 2-3 days.) Oh, and the cost is phenomenal ($53 total)-- it was a good alternative to Gmarket, as Sazac Korea doesn't seem to be stocking mouse kigurumi anymore. ;_;

I also ordered from Mayfair on Rakuten. Overall I can say I had a good experience with them. I wanted to order a kigurumi from them for a while, but wasn't able to because I don't have a credit card. Luckily I found a preloaded credit card thing at Walmart and was able to use that to finally order! ^^

I guess I'll start from the beginning. I had a few kigurumis in mind that I wanted and ended up ordering the flying squirrel. It was ¥3,045 tax included, shipping excluded. This was my only problem- I had no idea if I'd have enough money for shipping since my preloaded card only had $65 on it.

About a minute after I ordered, I received the automated confirmation email from Rakuten that was all in Japanese. I just used the Google Translator to put it in English and make sure all my info was correct, which it was.

Eight and a half hours later, I recieved the confirmation from Mayfair, which was in English, and thankfully said my full total shipping included, which was 5265 yen, or about $57. The email also said that they would be shipping my kigurumi the next day.

The next day I got another email from Rakuten, but I deleted it so I don't remember what it said. Sorry about that. TT-TT;; I'm guessing it said they shipped it?

Three days after that, on Saturday, I came home to a note on my door from my post office man that pretty much said "Sorry you weren't home, now you have to drive aaaaalllll the way across town to come get your package from the post office on MONDAY!" gonk So I had to wait two days and have my dad pick it up while I was at school. That was kind of my fault, but I was under the impression it was being shipped through something like UPS where they could just leave it at my door.... Yeah, apparently not. -.-;;

But anyway, I came home today to a large envelope, opened it up and excitedly slipped into my brand new flying squirrel kigurumi! ^-^ It is so comfy and so well made! Definitely worth the $57. I've been wearing it since I got home even though it's 100 degrees outside. XD Luckily I got the thinner fabric.

I also had another experience with them just contacting Mayfair to ask a question. I used the little "ask a question" button under the "Add to Cart" button and filled out a form.

I translated my form into Japanese just in case, but it was unnecessary, as they emailed me back in English less than an hour later. XD The question I asked was if or when they were going to get more of something, and they only answered "That item is out of stock" so I replied to the email that I understood that but were they ever going to get more and they said that it was unknown. So communication wasn't exactly good, but it wasn't really bad, either. They seemed to answer really quickly, so that was good.

Overall, everything was pretty good. Time frame was excellent, price was excellent (well, it was expensive, but it is very high quality and definitely worth it), and communication was fair.The only time I would not recommend using Mayfair on Rakuten would be if you are on a small budget or are using a preloaded card (Since you can't tell how much shipping will cost until the order had already been sent) or if there is not usually someone at your house who can sign for the package. I am very pleased with my purchase, and will definitely be buying from them again! ^^
