Toward the T[erra and Jyu Oh Sei (Planet of the Beast King) both are in future settings after earth has been destroyed by pollution.
Jyu Oh Sei is about a planet for criminals from the space stations or other teraformed planets.
Toward the terra is about a sub race of humans with special powers they are called Mu. The Mu are hunted and try to fight back against the humans. The humans live on teraformed planets and do not have children of their own, they adopt children that are created by the system. When the child turns 14 they go for an adult exam that wipes their memories.
Both are fairly short for a complete anime series, they are also manga as well. Toward the Terra manga is different than the anime, I suggest the anime.
