Hello, I'm Lady Zombie Robot.. or Kris will do. 4laugh I have tried to learn Japanese in the past unsuccessfully but now I've decided to have a go at it again. I've been at it for about a week. But I figured why not try to befriend others trying to learn or who may already know and can help me out now! Maybe it's too soon? I have no friends right now that are fluent but I do live in Hawaii and am exposed to some of the language visually and hear it a bit when I go into Honolulu. I mostly want to learn because I enjoy anime and I would really like to be able to watch without reading. I also would like to be able to understand Japanese guests when I go to conventions without the translator. smile

I check Gaia much less now due to all the changes that have been going on since earlier this year. If you would like to keep in touch and try to communicate or pep talk each other with our studies and whatnot, you can add me as a friend or post on my wall. I've been a member of this guild since I first joined Gaia about a year ago, yet I don't remember if I introduced myself or not, so I'm going to introduce myself here.
Enough of my pointless rambling! On with the introduction!
I'm a huge fan of anime, manga, ramen, dumplings, RPGs, games in general, drawing, snow, dogs, chatting, debating, reading, writing, and role-playing.
You could call me a Japanoholic. I really don't mind because in reality, that's what I am!
I dislike a lot of things as well. If something bothers me, I'll be sure to let you know. However, I'm usually low key, so try not to get on my bad side. 'Kay?
I tend to jump around a lot in my posts, so please bear with me! If you don't understand what I'm saying, feel free to ask! I don't judge!
My favorite anime would have to be Durarara as of now. It's worth watching in my opinion, but of course, opinions are like butts. No one wants to hear them or see them.
I'm not all that great at introducing myself. I just like to talk a lot.
As you can probably already tell, most of this post is rambling.
I'm usually pretty formal, but sometimes I can be really informal. I'm a literate person, so yeah.
I've been studying (or at least trying to) Japanese for about two years now. I really suck because I don't get a lot of time to study. Most of what I've learned is from anime and game I have for the DS. I forgot most of what I learned though, so I have to re-learn it.

Hello all!
I joined this guild when I joined a month ago and realized that I never post here at all. Maybe it's about time as I'm not really meeting people on this site.

I am originally from Canada but I have been living and working in Japan for the last 9 years or so. I can no long do the math but it's been a long time. I can speak, read and write Japanese at near fluency levels. I did pass JLPT 2 ages ago, but I don't think I've gotten better since.

Anyway, I'm here offering help or answers to all those that have them or want them. However, just meeting new people is fine too.
