Last Letter Game: Book edition

Okay, everybody should know the last letter game. You take the last letter of the word before yours and put a new word starting with that letter. Woo. Well, this is the book edition. Only titles, character and place names can be put. This is WRITTEN WORD. No comics. No manga. And for crissake, no movie adaptions. Also, put the name of the book the character or place is from, and put the author if it's just the book (if you can remember).
