	Fluxbox fits my needs! Fast, minimal, clean, customizable. plus it helps me learn about my computer a bit more.

	I tried launching everything from the shell using xinit once. It was an enlightening experience, and much faster on slower computers than gnome or kde. I use XFCE on my netbook to consume less resources and I use gnome on my desktop. As long as I have access to a terminal and the desktop doesn't slow down the pc, I don't really care which one I use.
