With all due respect to Wiccans

With all due respect to Wiccans that recognize their truth is but one of many. I have a beef with how some Wiccan books are written. I've found some of them aren't clearly labeled as Wiccan. Now, Wicca has offered history of many culture's practices and made them available; easier. For this I am thankful.

However, these books tend to treat Wicca AS Witchcraft when there are differences between the two. I can understand the grey areas though. Wicca has information that is used in Witchcraft and vice versa. So, you get a natural crossover between practices.

It starts out as the practice of magic according to that culture as we are able to understand it. Then, it turns into a Wiccan ramble of "THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT" ... Basically using a sneaky tactic to enforce their paradigm of truth as the only way of doing things.

Which makes it so I'll skip entire sections of the book because it amounts to little more than Wiccan rambling of their ways. Personally, I work with Lucifer and I loosely identify as a Satanist since I do enjoy the adversarial philosophies I keep finding. I see Satanists, Luciferians, Wiccans, Pagans, and Christians do this. Along with so many other paths and religions.

Honestly? It's very very very thoroughly annoying. I think, we should filter carefully and find our own truths for these reasons. /polite rant.

Ultra necro, but this tends to run true. A lot of people, at least the more mature ones, will eventually grow out of the "one true path" mindset and find their own way.
