Lynne shook her head at the oddness of the conversation, sighed at the sounds from inside and started walking away. She loved her live, but sometimes she wondered at another life. One without the men and purses and worrying about a noose around her neck. Shaking her head at her own foolish thoughts, she started back to the outskirts of town, knowing she would be the only sober one and needed to find a place on the grounds for their temporary home.

William found himself being hugged by Kate suddenly. It caught him a little of guard and he almost fell over. Steadying himself by take a step back with one foot he returned her hug. His face becoming red at her father's remark. Kate then sat back down on the stool and William began to get excited about where he was thinking they should go. "It is a surprise," he said, grabbing her hand and pulling gently indicating for her to come with him. He glanced at the door a moment, long enough to see a hooded figure leaving. He was curious, but he would wonder about that later. He returned his gaze to Kate, smiling widely. "Come on let's go," the boy would sound anxious now as he wanted to hurry and show her. He thought about what they would do while they were there. Maybe he could teach her how to do it too. His cheeks became a little pink at imagining it.

Tell mother I will help her out later. Her mother would know what she meant and hopefully her father would. It was the day when they usually looked at what stock they had so Kate could go up to the brewery the following day and put an order in on what they need. Kate now turned to William smiled quickly before leading him out of the Inn.
