Yesterday me and my fiance went into the city centre to watch the Olympic torch come through into Plymouth. It's a once in a lifetime thing to see so I had to take advantage of it, what I wasn't expecting however is to have a leaflet shoved into my hand about holding a torch up for the "murdered children". Needless to say said leaflet made it way quickly to the bin.
Luckily many people shared my opinion, some immediately throwing it on the floor as soon as the read it, others ripping it to pieces and others hurling abuse at them.
Why do they feel the need to do this? Bring a happy and to many an exciting event into a protest?
Either way the reactions of many people made me calm down, it seems Plymouth is not a good place to be pro-life.
