The only worker is Ryota Anzai, who works on the bottom part of the shack and lives on the upper part because he can't just leave this place alone.

↘ Ryota returned, soaked in just his trunks and a towel that wrapped his waist and entered the cafe which wasn't locked. "..s**t. Forgot to lock it again." He looked around, noticing that everything seemed to be in place and so he went upstairs and went to change into some clothes that weren't soaking wet. Before doing so, he made sure that his cafe had a the sign flipped to "OPEN".

❝ Eli had decided to return to the hotel but had gotten lost and came across the cafe which now said, "OPEN". Curiosity overcame her, so while dragging her luggage, she knocked and slid the glass door open. "...Hello?~" She said quietly, noticing how empty and dark the place seemed yet the place had a nice, simply interior. She sighed, now tired from carrying her luggage, and took a seat in the corner of the empty room next to the window with the best view of the beach. "At least it's peaceful..." She silently waited for some host to arrive, knowing people probably worked here considering it was open. ❞

So this gal next to him, holding his hand as if they were already officially an item, wasn't so bad after. That audacity she had to do such a thing was sort of a turn on for him, still he wasn't the type to stick to just one girl.
He held her hand with tenderness, letting her lead him to the cafe she had mentioned earlier.
They got the stairs of the cafe and he pulled away from his grasp to go ahead of her. Like a gentleman, he slid the door open for her, waiting for her to go in first.
"After you, my dear."

Fiona tilted her head to him a little right before she walked in. "Your such a gentlemen." she said just loud enough for only him to hear. Once she walked inside she looked around and saw another girl and another guy. She smiled slightly at the girl and smiled a very flirty smile at the boy. "Where do you want to sit?" she said gesturing generically around the cafe. Cute people all around me. I think I like this place.

Max dug his hands in his pockets, surveying the cafe, not very many people there. Finally a sense of privacy fell over him, making him feel at ease.
he reached for the closest table to them, pulling out the chair for Fiona to sit.
"This will be fine, unless you prefer else where."
'Alcohol...alcohol!' he thought. It was one thing that he had in his mind. He hadn't had a drink in days, he was overdue, in his opinion. He hoped they served it, if not...he wouldn't know what to do, unless the hotel had some...

Fiona sat down and scooted up to the table. She picked up a menu sitting on the table and began to read."So what sounds? I think I'll get a smoothie. Ooooh but this pineapple juice sounds good." she said. Everything on the menu sounded good, especially the fruity stuff. She looked over at Max and handed him the second menu on the table. Then smiled and went back to reading hers.

Max nodded and took the menu. He skimmed through it, holding it with one hand as he rubbed his temple with his other hand, slightly making a face at the faint throbbing in his head.
"I'm thinking more of a cocktail." he placed the menu down, waiting patiently for her to make her final decision and for someone to attend them.
"Why did you come here? The island, I mean?" He was rather curious what brought her here in the first place.

Fiona finally made a choice and ordered a pineapple smoothie."Why I was sent here you mean." she said rolling her eyes. "My parents are hoping I'll find a husband here. They say I was 'sleeping around' to much at home. Being here isn't going to change me though, and the guy would have to be very special to be husband material." she explained. She shrugged her shoulders and leaned back in her chair. "What about you?"

It was cool in the cafe and Max leaned back in his chair too, unbuttoning the top button on his shirt. He grunted a little at the word husband. That was one thing he was not ready to become, to be a one lady man...
"Get away from home, work especially, but most of all, enjoy my 18th birthday."
It was starting to hit then. If she was there for a husband, that noble girl on the beach...were they 'candidates' for him? He wasn't forced to go the island by his parents like Fiona, but they had suggested it to him to 'spend' his birthday there. They have him the right reasons to go there, so had he been tricked?
That sour his mood. Trying to make him find a wife. Wouldn't happen...
"You aren't the only one here for that reason too? The husband-finding?"

↘ Ryota had just returned from the second floor, his private home, after putting on some decent clothes: a white t-shirt and a fitted jeans. His hair was still damp but hearing the noise downstairs, he knew he had to attend to them.
He had just stepped down from the last step when the couple (in his eyes) had just entered. He returned a smile to the girl who had given him that flirty smile, which he found odd for a girl to do in front of her boyfriend. Very few girls did that to him in Japan. Guess these foreign girls are different.
He noticed the young lady sitting by herself and thought to himself, "Alone? She's not so bad... Maybe I can have some fun with her..." Setting that thought aside, he calmly walked over to the couple's table and sighed, a bit annoyed that they were so talkative. "How may I serve you?" he said in a surprisingly polite voice. Though he may find customers annoying, he loved the cafe and his work.

( I'm so sorry for neglecting this! I really wanted to roleplay but just been so busy reviewing for AP exams and the final! Plus I had a lot of track events. Max sat up as he noticed the young man approaching them, smiling at Fiona. He couldn't help turning sideways and hiding his expression, feeling rather amused than jealous.

He fixed his composure and cleared his throat, "Fiona, why don't you go first."
