His motions failed but gave her extrodinary powers.

History: Ryella grew up being a gentle, yet adventurous child. She was always found with the boys in Nibelhiem, always pranking someone or sneaking around to find ‘treasure’. She continued to be like this even after her brother left to become a SOLDIER when she was 9 and he was 13, although she matured greatly throughout her teen years. When she was 14, she discovered the Mako Springs within Mt. Nibel, and when she was near them, a sharp rock in the wall next to her sliced open her arm, just as the rock beneath her gave away into the Mako; while she was unconscious, the Mako entered her blood stream from her wound and modified her DNA to be equivalent to a SOLDIER that was treated with the Mako. When she awoke from her ‘coma’ 5 years later, she was horrified to find that Nibelhiem was destroyed, with no sign of any survivors. She left the ruins of her home, and she now lives in Midgar with the cover up of being a ‘harmless scholar’ (not that she want’s to be known as that)

Family: Everybody's dead as far as he knows.

Weapon: Two silver gunblades both named the Velvet Nightmare. And his nearly flawless defensive martial arts.

Occupation: The wisest of the three Remnants of Sephiroth, the torturer, and also the scout. (He tends to hang back from fights and examine his "prey" before he does anything drastic.)

History: He was born to do two things, and two things only. One: Destroy the planets that dare mock and spit on "Mother"'s name and two: protect his precious family. Mainly, his little brother, Kadaj. While their own personalities were completely unstable, when they are united can they balance each other out. However, not everything went so smoothly. "Big Brother" Cloud killed them all, even though the reunion went according to plan and they began to rest in the Lifestream once more. More like choking the Lifestream and Minerva would have none of it. So, she removed them from the planet's core, but Yazoo awoke alone. Now he wanders aimlessly, bloodthirsty and angrier than ever.

Talents: He is very athletic. Well, more like an acrobat. But he can move so gracefully that he looks more like a phantom than a person about to kill you. His intelligence is by far above average and is called upon by his brothers when their plans need either revising or foresight. Yazoo is able to summon the Shadow Creepers. While this skill is shared amongst all of the brothers, the dark hounds are ultimately loyal to Yazoo above all else. Embedded in his arm is a Thundaga materia, a Firaga materia, and a Hell Blizzara. However, since the Firaga seems to be a default and backfires every time he uses it, he prefers not to use it at all. He also has instant regeneration due to the fact that he is a walking, (somewhat)living matrix of Jenova cells.

Fears: Flowers, water, anything that has to deal with the element of Light, and being separated from his brothers

Name: Kadaj
Age: Appears around 16-18

Actual Age: 2

Gender: Male
Family: Yazoo and Loz, calls Jenova Mother, and anyone with GeoStigma Brother or Sister. However, since the events of Advent Children, he doesn’t know the whereabouts of his brothers or if they even exist anymore, and all his “siblings” that had GeoStigma have been cured, so they no longer hold any ties to him.

Weapon: Kadaj wields a double bladed katana called Souba.

Occupation: The leader of the remnants. Kadaj is also the “tactician” of the group, coming up with most of their plans and strategic attack patterns—with input from Yazoo every once in a while, seeing as he’s the mentally reliable older sibling where as Loz’s uses remain purely physical. Being most like Sephiroth in terms of his unstable mentality, Kadaj has been referred to as a “larval” form of the man.

History: [In Final Fantasy VII Lateral Biography Turks -The Kids Are Alright-]: Kadaj was born in a pond of blackened water near Nibelheim. He saves Kyrie from sinking into the pool and goes back with her to Dr. Drakes office where they converse, Dr. Drake and Kyrie both seeing Kadaj as a friend who died in a fire thanks to his ability to mimic people’s dead relatives. Tseng later tells Kyrie not to trust Kadaj after finding out that she thought of him as a lost friend who had died, Tseng, on the other hand, saw him as himself and not another person. Tseng is also attacked by Kadaj when he interrupts Kadaj and Evan after Kadaj gave Evan his pain back, having taken it away earlier during surgery for a gun-shot wound. Elena and Tseng chase after Kadaj and Evan goes to check in Kyrie, but outside her room hears her talking to Kadaj, in the form of her old friend. However, before he can enter, he hears a gunshot. Inside, Kyrie is standing over Kadaj with a gun, and fires again, but Kadaj conjures forth his sword and threatens to kill them. They flee the room, but Kadaj quickly appears in front of them, blocking their way. Elena and Tseng arrive in their helicopter, but before Evan and Kyrie can get to it, Kadaj jumps aboard and starts fighting the Turks inside as the helicopter travels North. Evan and Kyrie chase after, hoping to defeat Kadaj by luring him over one of the snow-covered crevasses that were mentioned to them at Icicle Inn. However, as they begin to form their plan, Kadaj appears in front of them and coaxes Kyrie to instead step over a crevasse herself. Evan catches her hand, but Kadaj stabs him in the shoulder and she falls. Above, Tseng orders Elena to fire a missle, but she hesitates due to Evan's proximity. Reno, Rude then arrive with Doyle and Leslie, but are also unwilling to open fire in fear that Evan might be struck; Tseng orders them to fire, while Reno, Rude, and Elena make excuses.
After removing the blade from Evan's shoulder, Evan tries to crawl into the crevasse and the Turks open fire on Kadaj, but the bullets have no effect and he disappears, reappearing on the nose of Reno and Rude's helicopter. Kadaj shatters the windshield with his sword and Rude throws Leslie and Doyle from the aircraft, then begins to climb, but Kadaj again vanishes, appearing behind them inside of the helicopter. Reno and Rude bail out and Tseng fires a missle at the helicopter, destroying it.
The force of the explosion shatters the ice beneath Evan and Kyrie just as he reaches her, and they fall deeper beneath the earth, into a cavern that was carved out by the Lifestream two years earlier and is filled with mako. On the surface, Tseng and Elena head to Under Junon while Rude heads back to Healing to get another helicopter, and Reno, Doyle, and Leslie search for Evan and Kyrie.
Evan and Kyrie reach a dead end in the cavern, filled with several dead bodies all garbed in black robes, and with them the body of Evan's mother, Annette. Checking her body, Evan finds some letters she was carrying, including a letter to Nick Foley regarding the escaped test subjects, a personal letter to Foley, and a letter to Evan. He also notices a small, warm mass wrapped in her handkerchief, which he takes.
Hearing Kadaj approaching from behind, they flee, passing a hole filled with Lifestream. Evan suggests that they jump inside when the handkerchief unravels and a piece of Jenova's flesh falls to the ground. Kadaj tries to grab it and Evan kicks it into the Lifestream, prompting Kadaj to jump in after it. After a few moments, Kadaj is disolved into the Lifestream. Leslie, Doyle, and Reno find Evan and Kyrie a short while later.

[In Advent Children]: Kadaj appears on the Midgar Wasteland to summon Shadow Creepers to attack Cloud while he is out riding his motorcycle. After speaking to one of the Turks over the phone, he recalls his monsters and sets off to find Rufus Shinra. Arriving shortly after Cloud leaves Rufus, Kadaj reveals that the plague Geostigma is caused by the remnants of Jenova in the Lifestream, and that those infected are part of a plan for a second Jenova Reunion that will recreate Sephiroth. However, Geostigma alone isn't enough, Jenova's remains are needed, and Kadaj believes Rufus knows where they are.
With a group of infected children brought to the Forgotten Capital, Kadaj proceeds to tell them that Geostigma is caused by their bodies rejecting Jenova's influence, and that her presence makes them brethren. Kadaj has the children drink from a pool of dark water, activating the latent "reunion instinct" in their Jenova cells. Cloud arrives and battles Kadaj and his brothers. Outnumbered and weakened by his own Geostigma infection, Cloud is defeated but is saved by Vincent Valentine, who reveals to Cloud the true nature of Geostigma, and the impending rebirth of Sephiroth it could mean, although he does not yet reveal Kadaj's connection to Sephiroth.
With the reunion instincts of the children to guide them, the Remnants go to Edge to look for Jenova's remains.Loz and Yazoo battle the Turks and Kadaj summons Bahamut SIN to attack the city. During the attack, Kadaj confronts Rufus and confirms that Sephiroth is about to be reborn. After Cloud and his friends defeat Bahamut SIN, Rufus reveals Jenova's remains in a box concealed under his cloak. Casting the box off the building where they are standing, Kadaj leaps after it catching it mid-air. The ensuing chase between the Remnants and Cloud along the highways into Midgar apparently kills Yazoo and Loz. Kadaj gains the lead and stops at the Sector 5 Church to inspect Jenova; he is promptly horrified at what is left of her and cries. Cloud bursts in, and an enraged Kadaj attacks him. Aerith calls a geyser of healing water to erupt from the flowerbed, wounding Kadaj and causing him to flee. The water also cures Cloud of his Geostigma.
Cloud confronts Kadaj outside the ruins of Shinra Headquarters. Kadaj is unaware of what to do with Jenova's remains now that he finally has them; when Cloud points this out, he attacks. Now that he is cured and back to his full strength, the battle ends with Cloud as the victor and Kadaj hanging from the edge of a tower. With no other option, he leaps into the air and absorbs Jenova's remains into his body, leading to the recreation of Sephiroth moments later. After Sephiroth is defeated, a mortally wounded Kadaj is reformed from his dissolving remains, and attempts a half-hearted attack on Cloud, but instead collapses into his arms. Weakly calling him "brother", Cloud holds him while Aerith speaks to Kadaj from the Lifestream. Believing her to be Jenova, Kadaj calls her "mother" and happily dissolves into the Lifestream with her guidance.


Talents: A trait Kadaj shares with Jenova is his ability to mimic the appearance of people’s dead relatives. Kadaj is also an extremely skilled swords-man, proving this by being able to battle Cloud completely one-on-one, matching him while Cloud is still wounded by the GeoStigma. He also has the ability to transform into black mist and summon shadow creepers at will without the help of Materia. He is able to vanish and quickly reappear in another location, and to become immune to attacks from firearms, likely extensions of his ability to disperse into mist. He demonstrates an ability to take away people's physical pain as well as re-grant it, as evidenced by his "mending" Evan's shoulder wound before giving him his pain back in the encounter in the mountains.

Fears: Losing his brothers, being second in Mother’s eyes, not being able to find Mother and do as she wishes.

Occupation: Mercenary

History: Cloud was born in the sleepy mountain village of Nibelheim, and was neighbors with Tifa Lockhart. His father died when he was young and he was raised by his mother. Cloud grew up isolated from the rest of the village children, feeling himself somehow better than them, though it is implied he longed for the others' friendship. He developed a crush on Tifa, but hated her friends. Although the two consider each other (and are considered by others) to be childhood friends, by Tifa's own account they were not that close growing up, despite the fact he was her neighbor.
When Cloud was nine, Tifa's mother died, and Tifa insisted she could meet her mother again by crossing Mt. Nibel. Cloud followed, and when Tifa was injured, the townsfolk believed the expedition up the mountain to be Cloud's idea, and Tifa's Father forbade Cloud from approaching her. Cloud blamed himself for what happened to Tifa, thinking it was because of his own weakness that he failed to save her. As a result, Cloud developed a bit of an anger problem, always getting into fights, not even caring who it was with. Yet in spite of this new show of aggression, Cloud was still just a quiet kid who rarely had much of anything to do with the other kids in the village.

At the age of thirteen, Cloud learned of Sephiroth and his exploits. Resolving to become a hero like him, Cloud decided to set out and join SOLDIER. He called Tifa out to the water tower to tell her about his departure, hoping to impress her. Upon her request, he promised to save her if she ever found herself in trouble. The following spring, he left for Midgar in pursuit of his goal, as did Johnny, another Nibelheim youth trying out for SOLDIER.

Occupation: he's currently working as a librarian, but he's also a mercenary.

History: Millisar, born and raised in small village called Nibelheim. When he was younger, Millisar was friendly, caring, loud, and laid back. Well, everything changes when Carmilla, the girl that live next door(and the girl that he had a crush on), asked him to accompany her to explore the nearby forest, just to kill the time. At the forest, a pack of wolf attacked Carmilla and injured her so badly, but luckily, Millisar was carrying his Vanargand, so he managed to fend off the pack of wolf(though, he collapsed in the woods, next to Carmilla.)
Millisar's mother, Yuffie, found him and Carmilla and took the boy and the girl back to the village quickly, because she used to be an expert ninja.
Few days later, Carmilla was fully recovered from the wolfs attack. Millisar apologized, despite going to the forest was Carmilla's idea. however, Carmilla's father never allowed the girl to play with Millisar again.
This, changes his attitude and personality drastically. Now, he's cold, arrogant, and his face always seems stoic and expressionless. He spends most of his time alone, only with the company of a book, and his motorcycle. He lives away from his family, earning money with his work as a librarian and mercenary.

Talents: very stealthy, and has a good eyesight, even in dark place. He's also very good in close combat, especially when using sword.

Fears: Spiders (he hides the fact that he is scared of spiders)

History: Vincent is a genetically modified human assigned to guard the scientist Lucrecia Crescent, who gave birth to Sephiroth, in one of Shinra Corporation's experiments involving the cells of an extraterrestrial life form called Jenova. Soon after, Vincent himself became subject to experiments performed by a Shinra-affiliated scientist named Hojo. Years later Vincent joined Cloud Strife's group to stop Sephiroth, as well as to seek revenge on Hojo. Now, Vincent is trying to piece memories he had forgotten back together and notices there was another girl during his time at the Mansion with Lucrecia and Hojo.

Occupation: Jack of all trades. Will do just about anything

History: Battling severe depression since she was young Rianna dreamed of putting smiles on everyone's faces to somehow cure the unhappiness in her heart. Being the youngest child of three she was never able to help out on the Ranch as her brother and sister did. Her father wanted her to get an education and make something of herself, despite the small happiness she got from playing with the chocobo's on that beautiful Ranch, rubbing her face into their fluffy feathers, hearing their soft and gentle coo's as they nuzzled her to sleep. So he sent her to the city of Midgar as an apprentice at ShinRa's chemistry lab. There she was turned into an experiment herself due to her infectiously beautiful smile that could make even him smile back and feel happy inside. Her smile however beautiful was fake. Hojo did everything he could to make her absolutely miserable including letting Rufus have his way with her. She became pregnant and could not bear the thought of her child being used as an experiment so she developed an elaborate escape plan. Two years later her and her son Adrian were struggling to make ends meet in the slums of Midgar. Even so, Rianna was finally happy again. Her son had the yellow hair of a chocobo, her infectious smile, and her innocent eyes. She would do anything for him no matter what it took.

Family: His mother, father, and older sister in Corel town.

Weapon: A Master-level Cure materia, a Barrier materia, and a low-level Fire materia equipped to a simple mage's staff.

Occupation: Unemployed, journeying on foot from Corel to Midgar to enter school.


History: Born to an impoverished family in the wake of the ruined town of Corel, Lucas was encouraged by his parents to seek schooling in a big city like Midgar or Junon. His parents, his mother being a doctor, gave Lucas what little supplies they could afford as well as his mother's Cure materia, having been passed through a long line of doctors.

Lucas traveled with a caravan across the western continent until he finally boarded a ship to Junon from Costa Del Sol. In the eastern continent, his first encounter with a monster was by the crater lake formed by the landing of Ultimate Weapon, where he encountered a lone wolf. Terrified, he bought his time until he could escape. He now travels by foot towards Midgar.

An extremely shy, frightened child, Lucas will run away from danger and can hardly bring himself to speak to people. His long hair and robe have gotten him mistaken for a little girl at times.


Talents: Although he possesses no fighting skill, Lucas' Cure materia brings out the goodness in his heart, making him a powerful healer capable of curing most any battle wounds. The Fire materia only aids him in starting campfires and keeping monsters at bay long enough for him to run away.

Fears: People, monsters, anything that makes sudden movements, shadows, monsters, dogs, cats, mice, insects.
