MissKayasha I know how you feel D: I am running out of ideas too crying The only contest I did was a bump contest. The first person to reach 2000 won a 250k item... but than my guild a is charity one sweatdrop But the idea is still good to use right?
That sounds like a good idea. Not sure if it's fit for my guild though due to the theme, you know?
I am just aggravated for the fact that my guild about The Doors doesn't act like they want to do anything. The suggestions that both guilds did make was, "Oh! Do a trivia contest!" I was thinking about making my own fill in the blank thing. Not sure if word puzzles would be considered "lame" or what.
It'd be nice if more people would post in this thread so we could share ideas of contests/competitions

Aquatic_blue No Gambling in Paradix We just had a lotto... BUt yeah. I dunno, me and my crewmates end up having to create almost all the threads... ...But be sure to have fun! How exactly does a lotto work in a guild? (Just so you know, we're mods in the same guild) You can do it many ways.
What we did for this one was that we sold tickets for 100 gold each--90 gold to the pot and 10 gold per ticket for the host (No Gambling in Paradix). We assigned numbers for tickets simply in the order they were bought in.
You can see the thread here. That might help...any questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks, maybe I could try that if I can get enough to participate.
Anyone else have any other ideas?

Hi there... so it seems like this guild has all but died, but I thought I might try to pump a couple of posts into its veins in hopes of reviving it...?
Anyway, I'm Night, and I'm the captain of Down the Rabbit Hole, an Alice in Wonderland guild. Thankfully AiW is a pretty lucrative topic, with lots of places to go for contests (we cover the Looking Glass world too, as well as all the adaptations.)
Last year, when I had been freshly voted in as captain, I started an annual guild event called the March Madness Extravaganza. Most of the legwork was done by me and Lady March Hare, a very dedicated crew member of mine. We had three threads, each with a contest: Dice rolling, a quote contest ("capturing the Pig Boy") and a tektek contest.
This year it was pretty much all me after Marchy and I had a brainstorm. We had a scavenger hunt (started in the main thread and little rhyming couplets led to other threads throughout the guild-- collect them all and get a prize), a "political debate" (Caucus Race) with campaign speeches and debate Q&A, and a banner contest.
People responded really well to all of those contests, even though our guild is pretty small and not the most active in the world-- so feel free to put your own spins on the ideas. (:
