It was hard to be believe that a whole month had passed since Wheeljack had arrived on the base, even more unbelievable was the fact that he hadn't blown anything up yet!

Optimus was waiting for it though, he'd been sure to warn the Human's of the fact that his explosives expert was in fact rather explosive.

Presently Optimus was doing paper work because the Human's seemed to be obsessed with it!

He looked up for a moment as his artist hit a tin lid with a broom stick, for three hours she'd been proclaiming this was 'slippery floor hangar hockey' but Optimus was fairly sure she was making said sport up because she was Jane.

The fact that the still-quiet Alexis had joined her in this newfound sport only further added proof to it.

...or maybe that was because now and again she pretended to be Andres Cantor just to make fun of the hangar's accoustics.

...or maybe she was just that bored.

From how much time she was spending with Jane, it was probably both.

What was amazing about this was that Jane was sober!

The fact was that there was nothing to do!

As was her partner.

Unfortunately for everyone within earshot, the boredom lead to another match of 'hokey,' which meant more impersonations of Andres Cantor from the resident technician.

...they were in desperate need of mental stimulation, to say the least!

Jane punted the make shift 'puck' across to hangar floor to the punctuation of a metallic clanging from the thing, "I am so bored ..." She complained loudly.

Alexis had to finish her latest butchering of Spanish in attempts to imitate Andres Cantor before adding to the discussion.

"I don't think anyone has anything to do, though..."

"In which case everyone is LAME!" Jane replied as she smacked the puck again.  

[Animus Inanis]

Another short impression followed.

"Well, at least random things can be done to alleviate boredom..." their 'hockey' game being a good example!

"This really doesn't count," Jane complained back, "This is going to get boring too."  

[Animus Inanis]

"Well duh," Alexis tried to score a 'goal' "Naturally."

sideswipe entered the hanger and quite literately collapsed into a pile.

"i'm so bored , optimus . cant we go somewhere i want to see things on this plant other then that dame training field doing "joint military operations" . Graham wont even let me fire anything"

"I wouldn't let you fire anything either," Jane muttered to Alexis with a smirk.

Optimus looked towards his subordinate, "We are a secret, Sideswipe,"

sideswipe was going to reply but shouting could be heard outside

" NO GET OFF THE ******** FIRING RANGE NOW. NO TAKE THAT WITH YOU. WATCH YOU STE..................STOP CRUSHING THINGS.WHAT NO STOP THAT. IM GOING TO HAVE TO CANCEL THE EXERCISE NOW " the strained voice of graham could be heard

"okay i test now?"

sideswipe hit the deck of the hanger

Optimus picked himself up, "Wheeljack, stop,"

"Heh, I think he'd explosive ..." Jane mused.

Striker hadn't been seen or heard from in a while. And I do mean a while. ... And then a familiar sight appeared on the NEST radar. It immediately transmitted an IFF signal, and requested permission to land.

Meanwhile, Chris had been being, well, Chris. He was catching up with Devon, Lennox, cleaning his guns, or at the firing range. Today, he was bored, but the commotion drew him out. He sidled up next to Devon far too quietly. "So, I think my microphone went out, dude. Middle of a Skype call with Liam, too." He gestured to the scene at hand. "WTF is going on?"
