Coryen2 Galad Damodred Some metaphysics and epistemology to begin with, I think... as an appetizer. Okay, Laz. My challenge to you: prove you exist. It's harder than most people think. I will prove that I exist as soon as you prove that you don't exist. I know I exist, because I can feel myself doubting it. To doubt is conscious thought, and to think is a verb, and a verb must have a subjunct. I doubt, therefore I am.
I have no way of knowing whether I have a body, though. What I know is that my thoughts exist. My mind exists. This body of mine, and this supposed external universe, are merely constructs of my senses, and senses can be fooled and manipulated. I have no way of observing objective reality; for all I know, I could be a brain in a vat on Alpha Centauri.

Sir BlackHeart Galad Aglaron It's my experience that a large number of (educated) Christians are big on philosophy. Anyone here harbour a love of wisdom? Metaphysics, epistemology, morality and ethics? I'm itchin' for a debate about Parmenides. twisted I'm a big fan myself of secretes...im kidding give me a watchmen graphic novel any day. Thats the best philosophy anyone could have. That's absurd.
