Well, I wanted my username to actually sound like a name 3nodding Not just a sequence of cool words and numbers pulled out of the air. I was thinking Melina, but that's an actual name. I wanted something original. So I changed the L to an H, and wa-LAH! Mehina biggrin

It turned out later that Mehina is the of a small Hawaiian bird crying gonk

Googled my real name and foreign language similarities.... Kandieren is German for candy or sugar. My real first name is Candace but I go by Candy as a nickname. I wanted an online name that was similar to what I'm used to being called. So ta da! It also helps that no one else on the net wants to use that name X3 LOL
