The door opened as Kiru walked back into the dorm and patted Cordinia's back before kissing his wife. "Looks like you two are up."

"I'll see what I can do," Cordinia said before Kiru came in.
She smiled when Kiru patted her back. She chuckled when he said that they were up. "Much to my dismay. My biological clock is messed up enough as it is. Falling asleep in the afternoon and waking up in the evening probably won't help," she said.

"Did you sleep well, at least?" Kiru asked Cordinia.

Lerana went back to dinner.

"I didn't wake up in a cold sweat if that's what you mean," cordinia said. She sat down on a nearby chair. She shuddered immediately cuter sitting down. Oh, what was that? I've suddenly got a really bad feeling. I wonder if Lawrence is ok, she thought.

Cordinia checked her arm. She had goosebumps. "Is it cold in here or am I going crazy again?" she said. She pulled her sleeves down and frowned. I have to get out of here. My friends are in trouble. Maybe i'm just paranoid, she thought.

Cordinia stood up and grabbed a sweater from her suitcase in the guest room. She felt warmer, but still thought something was awry. She walked out to the main room. "why am I so tense right now? There's just this nagging feeling in my head that my friends are in trouble. It's official, cordinia zlota has officially lost her mind. Paranoia has taken over, she thought.

Kiru nodded. "I suppose it is a bit more cold." He said, walking to a sleeping Yuki. "Either that or you're worried about something."

"Do you want a heavier sweatshirt, Cordinia?" Lerana asked.

Cordinia smiled weakly. "As much as I appreciate the kindness, it won't be necessary. I'm just stressed over my current situation. Lawrence is out there risking his life and I'm worried. I don't want either of them coming home in a body bag or worse. I'd gladly go out there and help him, but my ship isn't here and he said he wants me to stay safe here," she held her head. "I'm at my wits end here. My mind is nowhere near used to dealing with so much stress right now," This coming from the commander of an entire battalion? Hypocrite. she thought.

"Well, I can assure you he'll be fine." Kiru said and turned to her, Yuki in his arms. "He protected Yuki during the heartless attack anyway."

Cordinia laughed sadly. "You forget, both of them were killing each other during that and I was left protecting the kid," she shuddered when she remembered the attack. "I've never been so scared in my life, yet I was completely calm. Tch, I've become a emotionless droid," she said sarcastically.

"Oh?" Kiru said frowned. "But moving on to you, that's why Yuki must trust you. He knows that no matter the situation, you'll be an older sister to him."

Cordinia sat down on the couch and closed her eyes.

Cordinia sighed. "I'm not sure if I'm big sister material. I'm an only child so I have no experience with siblings," she said.

"That didn't stop you from protecting him." Kiru said and rocked Yuki. "Even if he was still young, you were a big sister to him. I'm sure when Eric's father straps rockets to him, you'll see what I mean."

Lerana took a nap.
