lilchibiusa My utter lack of a social life irl is precisely why I am on Gaia so much. I need friends, even if I never get to meet them in person. Back when I was a GD whore, (A LOOOONG time ago. (also where I was almost a mod back when they had specific forum mods)) they used to organize meet ups all the time. I was really neat watching the chaos that insued when people took trips to meet one another. But GD was really close knit back then and every was well aquainted with one another online before they did meet ups. heh. I can't even online date. I'm afraid of internet people. haha.

I'm not afraid of people I know on the internet. I am just afraid that my perception of them would change if I met them in real life. It's kind of weird. I perceive the people I know in real life a little bit differently when they are on Gaia. It's almost like there is a duality to their personalities in my mind.

I'll look at that in a minute. I just realized something. If all of us were to be put in a room together right now, we would probably be standing around awkwardly not knowing what to say to each other. You might not have guessed this, but I am very socially awkward in real life. sweatdrop

I can talk in real life. I'm not really shy. I'm just... awkward. (It's hard to explain, but I tend to break many conventions for interaction.) For some odd reason in real life, most people either love me or hate me. It's usually the popular socialite people who hate me. Geeks and nerds love me. 3nodding
By the way Zellie, your new avi looks great. It's probably because I like that classic look.

I'm not THAT socially awkward, I just... have a problem with not shutting up.
And I tend to forget REALLY fast if I've told someone a story or not. So I sometimes end up telling stories, like, six times to the same person. XD It's gotten to the point where I'll start with "Have I told you (x story) before?" before I actually delve into the fun part.

Yeah. I have that same problem. XD But...
o.o I watched a kid get hit by a car today. I heard this, "WHOA WHOA WHOA!" then a kid screaming and I look over and see this pick up parked over a kid. I didn't see blood, but he was bent over crying. Someone called 911 before I did, and I walked away, trying not to crowd him. The kid I was with flat out just ran off. Coward. I wish I would've called sooner. Like, pre-meditate it you know? It was kinda weird seeing something like that irl rather than over the internet.
