I was going to go with the hubby and have lunch with my whole family, but as it turns out, he got a severe dizzy spell that has me worried, so we're going to take my Mom out next weekend. I'm still a little disappointed though. *sniff*

Oh! Before I forget, I wanted to let all of our art loving members know that we've got a new thread in the Art subforum to Draw the Vetus Gaianus Below You! I'm looking forward to it, I think it'll be lots of fun. <3 Edit: Eek! I almost forgot! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY DEW! I can't remember if we have any other guild mothers. If I'm forgetting anyone... I'm just moping about something. Its not like talking about it is gonna resolve it, so I'll just switch to my mother's day.
Mom and I went to Costco (yay I finally have a Bluetooth headset that works!) and then to Freddy's to get stuff for dinner and desert. She got a ticket for running a red light on our way there. XD She's not mad about it cause she knows what she did. We had the dog in the back seat, and Mom was looking at me and by the time she looked up, she realized she couldn't stop in time without slamming Roxy all over the place, so she ran it and a traffic cop saw us.
Its only 100-something, so its really not terrible. I'm just glad we didn't get hit. ^_^;
Anyway, came home, and I spent the next couple of hours in the kitchen baking a lemon cake with lemon butter cream frosting, a chicken and dumpling casserole, and making a salad for dinner.
I also gave my mom a beaded necklace and bracelet that I made with beads I bought at the coast. She's been gushing about them all day. ^_^

Bluetooth headsets bother me. I always feel like people are talking to me when they are talking on those. I actually saw a funny spoof about that happening. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Khn1d6LQ8PUMy grandma came over for Mother's Day. I got her a bag and she liked it. I got my mom some roses and earrings and she liked that too. But the great thing is that I got to watch Ghost Rider and Star Wars. I watched Ghost Rider with my grandma, but I don't think that she was overly fond of it. lol
