Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden

I really want Takiko and Uruki to be happy together, but I know it's not going to go like that. Maybe there's a twist in the end...? And I'm going crazy from all the waiting. x___x;;

By the way, did anyone read Yuu Watase's side notes in the 7th book? She wrote that she doesn't like drawing romantic scenes and prefers lots of action. My jaw almost broke off from reading that little confession. xD But I was more surprised (and disappointed) to hear her say that the Byakko story won't be filled with as much romance as we think. emo

Okay, so I feel really stupid.

I was looking up Genbu Kaiden on Wikipedia, and I found out that Watase-San's not going to continue working on the series until spring of 2010! I thought it would be this year, not the next! so I just wanted to point that out, if you're as sad as me by checking Onemanga.com everyday for a new chapter, only to be disappointed.

Honestly, I think I'm just going to die if I have to wait another year for a new chapter....damn you cliffhangers!

Watase-sensei is overworking herself again it seems. I wish she would just stick to one project till its done~

I know! Seriously, i think that Arata Kangatari and Sakura Gari could've waited a while until Genbu was finished.....she never took this long with the Mysterious Play, did she?

I prefer Genbu Kaiden over the original Fushigi Yuugi. I think it is probably because I like the main characters attitude more than the other girl. It also be because I didnt like the original main characters hairstyle, but eh... It doesnt matter that much I guess confused

Sadly, it's true. We won't be getting new Genbu Kaiden until 2010. I wish she wouldn't pick up too many projects at once, and now it seems like she's overworking herself. In addition, her mother's health is failing. I hope she'll be alright.

About her blurb about the Byakko arc, can someone scan or type out that chat? I don't have my copy if volumes 7 and 8 yet. :[

That's common knowledge. Anyone who has read the original knows how Takiko's story ends, however Yuu Watase is alluding that it might all work out. (Especially with that whole cave of rebirth or whatever they crossed when trying to help Namame)

Genbu Kaiden is awesome...but nothing compares to Fushigi Yuugi...tamahome and miaka were amazing >.< the whole thing was awesome! but the manga 4 genbu kaidin is awesome 2! I hope they make an anime! >.<

i actually like genbu kaiden more....to me, Miaka was absolutely useless besides being a distraction by letting the Seiryu warriors kidnap and molest her....and she was always hungry!! at least takiko had her naginata and she knew how to use it! i like the original, but to me Genbu's the better series.
