I'm not getting to go to the beach and visit my friend Regina this weekend like we planned. crying
Has anyone heard about the live action Cowboy Bebop movie that is being made. Keanu Reeves is supposed to play Spike. Somehow, I can actually picture him as Spike.

OMG. Music box versions of X-Japan's early music are ALMOST as hillarious (and awesome) as gregorian chant versions of pop music. (See: gregorian "Toxic." Hillarious, special or awesome?)

Japan has been making live action versions of anime for years. I guess that Hollywood ran out of material.
Zellie, is that sort of like E Nomine? I don't have time to listen at the moment, but I'll definitely check it out tomorrow.

Yeah, but Japan's good at it. They're ******** weird, and don't give a s**t. America's really against anything real. For the most part. They don't get awesome enough with their LA-squared.

Dunno how active I'll be again, BUT...
I still think live action anime is odd, because it's difficult to catch the awesome of huge mechas or magical spells in live action film-making. Sometimes you NEED that animation to really make it work. :T
But I commend them for doing it and (mostly) making it cool.
(Though the Dragonball movie probably s**t on the collective nostalgia of many young adults whenever THAT came out. XD)

Yeah. I never saw it, but I heard they had to clean up a lot of exploding heads at the theater. (Hah, fooled you, didn't I? ;3)

This is completely random, but I stayed up late last night, and I got up early this morning to get my annotated bibliography finished to turn in as my final today. I came in and slept for four hours straight. xp My head kind of hurts now...

SeraphimDiablos Also, mod powers are weird xD You've been a regular for so long now, plus you are the main person in the art subforum, so I wanted you do be able to do with it what you feel like. For example, thread's types can be changed to suit your needs.

I decided to dive into this whole class thing and join the class of 2005 thread. They gave a towns address, but when I got there, they were just arranging themselves in different shapes. When I asked if anyone wanted to reminisce, I was met with what grade everyone was in when they joined. One person said that she was in the 2nd grade... That would make her 11 now? xp After I found out how under age everyone was, I left. I had expected to talk about how much things cost back then, and how the interface was different, and stuff like that! I really wanted to talk about how Gaia has changed as a result of all of this advertising. When the first ads came out and Lanzer was no longer the top ranking guy, it seemed like all hell broke loose. I can't imagine how much different Gaia is now from how it was in 2003.
