Malomy lilchibiusa My family is rather indoorsy. I like canoeing and hiking stuff, but I have never been camping. Actually, I rarely do the canoeing and hiking thing. It is mainly with a church group or school group. We were outdoors quite a bit in my Ecology class. It was one of my most favorite classes that I have ever had! Maybe I can get together with some friends... Malomy... Are you interesting camping this summer for a night? (Do you have a tent?) I have no tent... Camping? I'm not so sure about that. sweatdrop Both of us are such city slickers! It would be fun to do something like that!

dewshine_angel I'm planning on trying to take a roadtrip to either Arkansas or upstate New York to mine crystals, hopefully Arkansas though, because I want to also go visit Diamond Crater National Park. if you went to NY would it be Herkimer? ^^ I've been there at least twice. It's fun

I know! I have had that song stuck in my head all day long! xd
I went to summer camp as a kid and more recently went as a chaperon with my 5th grade class. Luckily, we had cabins with showers and bunkbeds! We also had a dining hall, so we didn't have to rough it so much. biggrin (I went with the 5th grade to the camp that I went to as a kid.)

My grandfather is in the hospital right now with a heart condition. He only has a 50% chance of living through the surgery. I will be at the hospital quite a bit, so I might not be on much for a few days. Malomy will keep up all of the organizing in my place. I should still be able to get on some, but I will not be on as much as usual. I really hope that he lives... cry

I'm sure your grandfather will pull through. Just hope for the best. I suppose at this point it's all you really can do. *hug*
My camp actually has a mess hall and cabins, but the showers are separate. They're always really filthy, and there are only showers with hot water in one place, so unless you're near them, you typically use a Ritz -- outdoor shower, only cold water. It's not completely roughing it, but it's not easy street or anything.
