Suwako went ahead and open the bag pulling out a few potatoes and placing them in a nearby sink to wash "I think ten should make a good amount" She suggested wondering herself if ten was too little or too much

Finn chose tha moment to join them in the kitchen, eyeing the ingredients on the counter with slight curiosity. He looked once at willow who was sorting through them, and then at Suwako, who was washing potatoes in the sink. Frowning in confusion, he stepped forward and peered into the sink to get a better look. "What're you two doing?" he finally asked, scratching the back of his head innocently.

"We're going to make other food items for Suika's party so use that don't like meat can still eat" Suwako replied to Finn "You're welcome to help, you can peel potatoes can't you" She offered pretty sure that Finn would decline

Finn tipped his head to the side inquisitively. He had heard a snippet of their conversation as he walked into the kitchen, and so he had an idea as to what they were going to do with the potatoes. "chips?" he said thoughtfully, though it was really more of a statement than a question. "seems like a weird idea, but I suppose I could help out. It's not like there's anything better to do..." He stepped forward and pulled a potato out of the sink, examing it closely. "Do we want these potatoes to be peeled or what?" he asked impatiently.

Willow shrugged unhelpfully from her place sorting the ingredients. It didn't seem like it would really matter whether or not the potatoes were peeled or not, but it might be safer anyway, if they were. One could never know how long those potatoes had been sitting there. "Sure, we'll peel them," she finally agreed. With a lazy flick of her wrist, she gestured to one of the drawers next to the sink. "You should find a couple of peelers in there," she directed.

Bartheyamus would walk into the inn, slightly ragged and more than tired. He had been gone for a long time, he knew this. He also know full well that it was entirely likely he'd not be welcomed back at all.
Scanning the room for unfamiliar faces, all he could do was stammer:

"G-greetings..."

He stated with very little confidence. He didn't know how to feel.

"Bartheyamus? is that you?" Suwako answered the voice she recognized but it was a long time is it was very familiar, she exited the kitchen to see Batheyamus standing at the door "It is you, It's been a long time where have you been?" Suwako asked

Turning his head slightly so as to hear the two's conversation better, Finn raised an eyebrow inquisitively. He pondered quietly for a moment as he pulled one of the potato peelers out from the drawer, flipping it around absently in his hand as he thought. It seemed as though Suwako actually knew this guy, so he couldn't be new after all. Maybe he had gotten himself lost in the woods? Finn chuckled mirthlessly at the thought.

Narrowing his eyes, Finn set the peeler on the counter and wandered out of the kitchen. He eyed the newcomer cautiously, and then spoke up. "Hey, who is this guy?" he said, scratching the back of his head in confusion.

Bartheyamus turned to Suwako as he shook his cloak free of burs and other assorted foliage.

"I took an unannounced pilgrimage back to my homeland. Strangely, it called to me ever since I arrived here and I soon realized my instability both in character and action. I took some time to meditate and contemplate my purpose in this world. My depression clearly had shown through in my time to you and I fear I became a bit rash in both action and word, so for that, I apologize..."

Bartheyamus donned his cloak quickly and removed his gloves.

"... I had returned home to realize why I left. I got into some labor, tried to achieve solidarity with the townsfolk to no avail. I ended up in our local clinic twice for violent tendencies both to myself and the people I called my neighbors. Now, without labor, I came here to achieve peace again. For awhile I thought the place stale and unchanging but I've realized it is home no less. I apologize for such a long leave, I was and am still unwell."

He turned to Finn.

"If you wish to know of me, why not ask myself directly?"

He grinned peculiarly.

Finn Smirked in responce to the man's words. Hadn't Suwako called him Bartheyamus or something? Odd name. He leaned back against the doorframe and propped himself up with one leg, bending the other comfortably behind the first. "From what you've already said, it seems I don't actually need to," he retorted cooly, eyes narrowing once again as he continued to survey the newcomer, waiting for some kind of reaction. This "Bartheyamus" gave off an authorative aura, something almost vampiric, it seemed. But it was still too early to tell. Finn decided to wait until any other clues made themselves apparent.

"That's Finn you can just ignore him, he appeared shortly after you left, just keep an eye on him and everything is good" Suwako interrupted "Bartheyamus, I'm glad you're back" Suwako smiled

After finally looking through all of the ingredients on the counter, Willow brushed her hands off on her heans and walked out into the lobby to join the others. Noticing what was going on as she made her way through the doorway, she nudged Finn sternly with her elbow, gritting her teeth. "Hold on there," she warned, "You're always too quick to start fights around here." Remembering the fight he had almost stirred up earlier, Willow shook her head. "I should have known better than to let another demon into this inn."

Finn frowned at Willow and Suwako. "Fine, fine," he said grudgingly, staring innocently up at the ceiling. After a moment of silence, he finally looked down again, glancing quickly out the window for any signs of the others. "But hasn't it been a while?" he asked, absent-mindedly changing the subject. "For the others, I mean," he continued, rubbing the light bags under his eyes, "It's getting late. I'm guessing that either means they're all horrible at hunting or something's gone wrong."

"It has been awhile i'm getting a little worried too, but if we go out looking for them we may end up being the ones lost" Suwako frowned looking out the window as well

Finn nodded quietly in what seemed to be agreement. If the others had gone and gotten themselves lost in the forest, then it wasn't really his problem. It wasn't even his fault, after all. He straightened up and looked over to the fireplace by chance. If anyone had bothered to light a fire earlier, then it was out now. And the inn had grown even colder as the day went on. Wrapping his arms around himself, Finn made his way over to the fire place and organized some logs carefully among the ashes. And once he was confident of their placing, he struck a match and lit the fire, stepping back to admire his handiwork.
