I don't know if my sister pre-ordered that book or what... I was too tempted when I got a book at Barnes & Noble a few days ago to get that book, then tell her she couldn't read it until I had. And then read it VEEEEEEEERY slowly. xD She's obsessed with the series. At least, unlike a friend of my friend's sister, she doesn't have a shrine to Edward in her closet and write him love letters...

Abby has been reading MY copy all day long. xp She is practically finished with the book and I have only gotten to chapter 4! Sharing books stinks. And how did she end up with my book anyway? sweatdrop

Breaking Dawn? That the last book in the Twilight series, or whatever it's called? I never read those books, I might sometime. -Shrugs.- Maybe not...

I don't think I'll ever end up reading it, even if just to finish the series. XD" My sister has already told me stuff about it. The only book in the series she dislikes more is New Moon. I figure she thinks the first one is best.

From what I read of the first book, the quality of writing was really shoddy. :/ Just not my thing I guess.

Lol. The whole Twilight series is really just acquired taste I guess... XD it's either for you or not.
O_o I'm kind of eh at the fact that it's gaining popularity that is being blown out of proportion and whatnot... awful.

Guess what! I am now officially a student teacher! xd I went in today for my first day. Today was actually just getting stuff ready and meetings. The kids will arrive tomorrow. My cooperating teacher has bus duty tomorrow morning, so I have to be there tomorrow at 7:00 AM too. I hope that I can handle all of those first graders. I am so nervous. Oh! And I get to stay on campus while I am doing this. This is significant because the others won't arrive for another week and a half. That means that I am all alone in the dorm except for the resident director. sweatdrop But, somehow.... this feels kind of nice. I am so used to this building that I am not expecting to get bored or afraid. 3nodding

I wish I was friends with one of my teachers. I'd ask interesting questions and crack jokes only we would get from time to time, and the other kids would be like, "Wha?" and we'd share laughs and eat donuts. biggrin

Hello everyone! Long time no talk! I've just been crazy busy lately, mostly with my B/C pet shop, but also with lots of life stuff going on. A dear family friend got married last weekend, my father-in-law's birthday was yesterday, my sister-in-law's is tomorrow, and my best friend is having her birthday party... today! Meep! And I just realized, my other good friend's birthday is on the 11th, I think!
Yep. Not the best time of year for me to try to cut back on my drinking I guess. rofl
I bet I've missed a lot around here! But wow Chibi, congratulations on the new job! That's fantastic!! See? I knew you would work something out. And don't be nervous, I'm positive the kids will adore you. First-graders should be lots of fun. All that reading to do, all those eager minds. They'll still think school is fun because they're just out of Kindergarten! wink
You'll have to let us know how everything went afterwards. 3nodding
