Hard Love by Ellen Whittlinger.

It's about a seventeen year old boy who's never been in love before, he's extremely cynical about everything until he starts writing zines, meets a girl doing so, falls in love with her, but she's a lesbian. It's not dirty or anything, but it's emotional.

And if you haven't read it yet, Catcher In The Rye by J.D. Salinger. My all-time favorite book.

Recently, I've taken to read "A Game of Thrones", I like it thus far and it has been warmly recommended to me by many friends. I, of course, like all Harry Potter but I like more the 4th one as it is just the good measure between good and evil, light and dark... For those of you who read French (more particularly, those from Quebec), I have an excellent trilogy for you. "L'Ange Écarlate", "L'Eau Noire", "L'Ombre Pourpre" by Natasha Beaulieu. Truly, I love those books, especially the first and the last... I've got to reread them all, I just finished the last one.... heart

I'd like to also add that I'm recommending any book by Tamora Pierce. She is an absolutely fabulous author and has what I find to be original stories. I love her and she is the author that sparked my love for reading.

I loved "East ofEden" and "Cannery Row' by Steinbeck. Both are about people in California before and during the Great Depression essentially, but is also amazing character study. If my characters are half as well developed, i shall be content.

Feed by M.T. Anderson. It's more of a read for older teens, but it's a beautiful metaphor for our consumerism society in America and how it will eventually lead to our destruction.

The Giver By Lois Lowry.

Very powerful book. It is about a boy who lives in a perfect society, and he is trying to fight it. He was choosen to recieve memories of times past, before everything became perfect. Very powerful!

That was my favourite book as a child. It's still a comfort-like object to this day.

Well..I dont' know about "Of the week," But I'm currently reading the complete collection of Edgar Allen Poe. His poetry enthralls me; he's such a twisted, tortured genius. Pity his life was cut so very short.

A book that I am fond of is The Giver. It is a really good book.

I have recently read the Tom and Hester series by Phillip Reeve, and I found them very interesting.

The series begins with Mortal Engines and then moves on to (In this order) Predators Gold, Infernal Devices and last, but not least: A Darkling Plain.

Another series of good books are the Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evanovich.

These books are very funny about a bounty hunter name Stephanie Plum.

The series starts with One for the Money and continues in chronological order with different titles, all with a number.
