Sorry. A lot of people have actually told me to tell them when a slot is open and all I say is to keep checking the thread for open slots. Sending everyone that wants to know a private message is more work than I wish to go through {doing the art is work enough}, plus it gives those people a leg-up over others.

There will be one open slot pretty soon and I might change the form a little, but I haven't quite decided on that yet. Do you think people would still want mistletoe pictures after Christmas?

keep the mistoe tell you get bored or no one is requesting a picture also you are getting to many request just with mistletoe and you in the picture.

you can possibly keep this going tell feb if wanted to

Sorry, killa... Icy had actually already nabbed slot 3, I just wasn't on to update it yet. sweatdrop Be sure to keep checking back. I'm going to try to get these done in a more timely manner so that more people can get art, but being that my sleep schedule is likely going to be kind of screwed for a while, I'm not sure how much of an attention span for this I'm going to have.

Icy has been waiting for that slot just about as long as you have, so I do not see how it is unfair that she got it.

I have been considering leaving all slots closed until all three orders have been filled so that there are three slots open at a time instead of people fighting over the one slot. I thought opening a slot as I finish each order was the best option, but it's starting to look like it is going to cause some unnecessary drama.

I think the way you originally set up the thread is fine....opening a slot in the thread puts the responsibility of those who want your art to keep checking in. You're already doing the art for free, so it's not like you're being paid to do it. smile You shouldn't have to PM people when a slot opens up b/c that just adds to what you're already doing, and takes away time from your art. Besides, what happens when you get 10-20 PM's from people wanting a slot? I want some art too, but I haven't been able to grab a slot yet. I say keep things the way you had them to begin with.

A friend of mine has an art thread in the forums...she's a professional manga artist...I'll PM you her thread so you can see how her's is set up. smile

*heavy sigh* Geez guys, I'm sorry. I really don't mean to sound like the spoiled rotten brat that I know I can be at times. It's just that I posted an interest in TES's art 5 days prior to Icy's, and I have been monitoring this thread on a daily basis waiting for an opening. The first available slot was grabbed by someone who never even posted in this thread before putting in his accepted order, 4 days after my post. Then after reading that another slot would open soon, I posted my order form too early. And then the 2nd slot opened up amazingly within mere minutes after my logging off for the night, after monitoring for several hours and patiently waiting for the slot that I was again told would soon open. Three strikes ...

I am just really frustrated here, and again I apologize to all. So for the sake of any further arguments, I'll just bow out gracefully now and let this one go. neutral

I'm sorry if I finish my work at a time that is an inconvenience to you... I just work on these things when I have the time and I'm in the mood to do so. Most of them are likely to be finished late at night or early in the morning since those are the hours in which I am awake {normally}.

Also, just because someone doesn't post that they want art in the thread does not mean they don't want it. Icy has left comments on my profile and we've talked in zOMG about how she's been vying for that slot. Some people just decide not to post until there is an available slot and I personally do not find anything wrong with that.

You seem to be wanting me to build a waiting list to be "more fair", but as I stated before, if I did that then the line would just keep building and the people at the back wouldn't get anything and I think it is more unfair that way because it is promising them something and then not delivering. I have a friend that decided to tell people that if they order they will be on a waiting list and that did not stop the orders from pouring in, so now she's got about 16+ orders and no time to fill them in. I do not want to end up like that.

If in the end you decide that you do not want to bother trying to get any art anymore, at least you have the relief of knowing that I won't have the opportunity to see you bald and naked, like poor Ayami

Leko's art is progressing rather quickly. I already finished sketching it and began inking, but I'm a bit too tired to continue as of this moment... otherwise it might have been done by morning. Maybe if I get a nap in it will be, but I would say it will most likely be another day before it is finished.

Matri's is next... I need a break before I start on it. Slot 3 is now open. The 3 people that have slots on Monday {January 4th}, are the last that will be getting mistletoe pictures.
