SOTN, the Guardian Knight in the Inverted Castle. There seemed to be no way for me to get past the sword and flame attacks, and even when I did he'd put up a shield that I couldn't get past. And when I finally managed to sneak a hit in with my sword, it did minimal damage!
It wasn't until I beat Galamoth and obtained the poison cloud where I could finally kill those Guardian Knights without too much effort.

I think Abbadon from DOS was the most troublesome for me until I upgraded my Buer soul and was invincible to his plague swarm. But it took me ages to figure that one out @.@

the guardians were hard for me at first,but now i kill them no problem.mi least fav enemy is the fleaman.they r so annoying wen ur tryin to hit them and they just keep jumping over u.

i also hate the medusa heads,especially the golden ones.ughhh.

I think it depends on the game, you know? I mean, on one hand you have the classic games. The fleamen and the medusa heads (not counting the gold ones) are extremely annoying on them but, in the more RPG oriented games, they're not as annoying for some reason. Does anyone else feel this way or is it just me? neutral

I don't like the axe armor guys. You duck to dodge one some of the axes and then he throws a lower one and you're screwed

Definitely Medusa Heads, Flea Men, and the occasional One-eyed demons.
I don't enjoy enemies that are intentionally in that one area of the game to knock you off a ledge/into a pit.

I agree Dark Elf! I think they are made so that in all games, they curse you and take away the MP. That's sucky when you depend on Mind Points a lot. 3nodding
