Well, more of the point of these rather than it being freebies is the mental challenge of coming up with what would happen if you put these two characters together in the mistletoe scenario. Making it easier doesn't necessarily make it more fun for me since I like these kinds of challenges. I've somewhat had something in mind since the request was posted, but am not quite clear on the execution, so have been trying to see if I can come up with something better and clearer.

I have started sketching the bribe art, but I changed my mind on it yesterday and had to start over... cat_sweatdrop It didn't look right.

Well, I figured something out and I'm working on putting down the flat colors now... which is taking a while because I'm doing it by hand instead of with the fill bucket emotion_facepalm Considering not all the lines are closed, my normal fill method probably wouldn't have sped the process anyway unless I went back and closed all my lines.

I'm hoping I'll have both the flat color and shading done tomorrow, though.

On another note, if Gaia ends up coming out with a vest like that, they should at the very least give me one for free because someone obviously stole it from me stare *wants that vest so bad now* stressed

I check out their contests every time they start a new one. They have certain themes for each one and none of the themes they had so far really appealed to me... plus I only just recently got my tablet. {Granted, one doesn't -need- a tablet to submit a design, but given they have a template that they want used, it definitely helps}.

Submitting a design that doesn't coincide with the theme is basically a waste of gold.

Yep. It's 10k per entry I believe. You can submit multiple entries, but it'll cost 10k a piece. It's a rather clever money sink as many who don't actually read the fine print will be throwing their gold at it in hopes of having an item they want made or just wanting a bit of Gaia fame by having their name on an item.
