Vaguely-Intelligent-Zom lilchibiusa Vaguely-Intelligent-Zom lilchibiusa Malomy will tell you that I have no life whatsover, and that I read entirely too much manga (especially smutty ones...) >_> Perv. :3 I wanted to get a hold of some Slayers manga for the longest time. I want to actually own them, you know, be able to read it at school. Not just here at home on some website that may be incomplete. <_< Might look into some other shows, but I'm, again, too lazy to go searching. Bwahahaha. I did catch all of OHSHC before the site I found them on was taken down though. That was nice. Except, I never got to watch Pinkie and the Brain. Try it... You might like it... wink When I was in highschool, I made it a point never to bring anime to school with me. There are too many chances to get caught in uncomfortable situations... sweatdrop The great thing about being in college is that I can hord manga in my dorm room and read it between classes. biggrin And Pinky and the Brain rules! xd Have you ever seen AMV Hell 3? It has the theme song with Excel Saga. rofl Try what? xD And I have AMV Hell 3 on my old Freewebs site. The thing's ancient, made it like...I dunno, 4 years ago. Maybe a little less, maybe longer. I have Ai (Chuusseishin) [Think that's how it's spelled. >_>] on my playlist actually XD It isn't ancient... stare It is just a classic... It's times like this when I really feel my age...

I have been able to legally drink for over a year now. It seems like my highschool days was in a completely different lifetime. I don't feel old until I am next to people more than three years younger than me. It is just that younger people don't remember the same things from their childhood as I do. My little brother is in highschool right now, and retro stuff like Voltron is considered cool. I remember when that show first came on! I watched it all of the time! Some of these kids were in Kindergarten when I was watching it! It is just so weird. xp Another thing that bothers me is the fact that I am 22 years old! That means that I have already lived approximately 1/4th of my expected lifetime. In 7 and a half years, I will be 30 and I will officially be out of my prime. That means that I only have a short amount of time left to be young and "with it." This is also the time period when most people find mates, and I am having no luck in this department whatsoever. It seems unreal as all of these expectations that come with age are overpowering me. I am actually scheduled to see a therapist to help me work through these anxieties. I am currently taking anxiety meds and I have been since the 8th grade. xp

I feel sort of the same way with gaming and the old cartoon network. 1 in 20 people or so in my graduating class remember the same cartoons I used to watch when I was little. And only 1 in like 500 kids know even one of the same games I used to play. It makes me feel old, then I remember I'm only 16, which makes me feel old again 'cause I still feel like I should be 13 (especially with my kiddish personality. >_>)

Oh God Chibi, don't get me started! I just turned 27 for goodness' sake!
I do remember an instance about 2 years ago that made me feel seriously old. When I was working at the bookstore, I was having a conversation with a teenager from the local high school, and we started talking about music. She reminded me so much of myself... Anyway, she piped up suddenly very excited and told me, "Oh! I'm just starting to get into the music from my Mom's era! Have you ever heard of Nirvana? They were really good!" And I was thinking to myself WHAT THE HELL?! There are kids who grow up not knowing who Kurt Cobain was?! eek I went to two mourning parties in that man's honor! rofl

Yeah. I had a moment of shock the other day when I girl I work with (who's just turned 1 cool ...didn't know who the mama's and the papa's were. I mean, yeah, they're old for us...but you'd think her parents would have forced it upon her when she was young. I know mine did. She's the first person I've ever encountered who didn't know that. confused

Heh. My uncle listened to old rock music all the time when he was hanging out in our backyard, and my stepfather loves it to.... Maybe that's why I started to prefer country over that stuff. rofl
On a side note, Chibi's floor is really hard.>.< My butt hurts from sitting on it.

Goodness! xp How could you not know about Nirvana? Didn't Kurt Cobain commit suicide? But to say that is from her mom's era... sweatdrop They aren't exactly old... I think that all of this goes back to the concept of the romantic irony... Wishing for immortality while facing mortality. Kind of makes a person fatalistic... Side note: My bed is softer than my floor, but I don't have a desk or anything else in my room, so I have my computer on top of a storage container. xp (I have to sit on the floor to type...) Malomy spent a couple nights at my house. We went to a state park today and went swimming in the lake. We also went to the wildlife rehabilitation center.

Also, s'where my computer is: http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd69/DiablosReborn/051308_0057.jpgTook the picture with my phone, so it's a little blurry. It's sitting on the floor in the corner of my (now trashed) room. Makes it very uncomfortable to type D=

I don't have a computer in my room. The kids' computer is in my brother's room (which wiiiill be mine come this fall when he goes off to move into his college dorm~), and it sits on his desk. So I have a nice chair to sit in while I type. XD

Unique way to welcome me back after a process -- but haha I guess it's just as fitting.

ED! xd *hugs* You will have to try harder than that to scare me. blaugh I have been vegging out on movies and video games this week. However, I actually did see the light of day a few days ago when Malomy spent a couple of nights with me. We went swimming! whee It was kind of weird though. I looked at my skin in the sunlight and I started to wonder if I had any pigment in my skin. The funny thing is that my skin would be considered beautiful a hundred years ago. How the times have changed!
