Will you dress your children gothic?

I never plan on having kids, let alone probably never going to get married, but in a "what-if" situation, I'd proabably dress my kids up in frilly lolita/victorian clothes up until they're old enough to make their own choices about what they want to wear.

My mother did that for me and my sisters. :3

I'm probably gonna be the weird gothic mother who makes/buys gothy clothes for her little ones. Then the kids will come home from school and ask, "Mommy, are you a vampire? 'Cause someone in my class thinks you are."

Just wait... Just you wait until I have kids. They'll be raised on good food, good parenting, and Evanescence. And they will be the cutest little gothy children around. heart

yeah, it would be really cute to have little goth babies running around the house. it's also no doubt that they'll grow up listening to evanessence and music like that.

plus, they have baby clothes at hot topic, which is quite odd, but i would probably mix and match their stuff from other places. i would probably do some gothic lolita or something of that nature. maybe even gothic victorian styles.

when they'd get older, i would let them dress as they please, but not hoochie or skimpy clothes.

i just hope that they follow the ways of their mother. :]

it would also depend on if the person i married was goth or not as well. man, this school year is going to be so fun...

.....I'd buy a couple different styles, including some regular clothes....but as they grow I would let them choose the styles of clothing they like......so all in all it would come down to their choice...

Well, I hate children, and I don't plan to ever have any of my own, so... I guess Im out of the discussion.

Although I hear babies are quite tasty.

As kids I'd buy them nice, cute, simple clothes from baby stores and stuff and then I'd buy them clothes with there favorite product on them, (i.e. spongebob, barbie, bob the builder) and then once there old enough to decide for themselves I'd let them wear whatever they want as long as it's not to revealing. I don't care about my kid would wear as long as they like it.

But, im not sure if i would have kids. Im not sure yet.

well, I'de dress 'em like normal people till there old enough to make their on decsion, I'm not one for influencing people, that and I may have a wife that WILL dress them gothy. Who know what tomarrow will bring.

Yea probably but it depends if the mother wants to as well and then i'll let them choose once they are old enough to do so.

Nah my Kids will either be Geeks(Star wars and Anime) or Punks. I 'm pretty open to anything, cept emo, and Preppy, or country.....yea

I'll dress them dark, but as soon as they're old enough I'll let them dress how they please. As long as they don't look like skanks.

If I ever have children, I'll probably dress them lolita/victorian until they enter kindergarten... then I'll probably get them normal clothing so no one will make fun of them. Also, once they're old enough to dress themselves, I'll let them wear whatever they damn well please, so long as it isn't too revealing. 3nodding

Personally I would let them wear what they want with some exceptions which I would deem acceptable (if I marry heterosexually that is).

There's also the matter of gay marraige. Yep, I'm gay.

I live in Britain where we have the blessing of an accepting government which does allow homosexual marriages (even if they are called civil partnerships).

Well while their too young to decide what to wear then yes gothic they'll be...but when they start expressing themselves who knows.
