I have been drawing forever and my favorite medium is pencil and paper by far.
i am trying to draw more to become a tattoo artist, i have been tattooing out of my home for 3 years now and am currently trying to impress and interested artist. I would like to know a few things about digital editing/ programs to help me do crazy stuff that i've seen online before. I LOVE TATTOOS. let me see some of your work ;o;
lol idk i'm not really good being self taught and stuff just better than some! never been trained properly lol So, why don't you post a pick of one you did on yourself.
i can give links but no pics. i've done 3 of four tattos on me myself. though one i had a professional color |

I usually draw using my tablet but I also enjoy just drawing with pencil and paper. This usually occurs when I'm bored or have time to kill when I'm waiting somewhere. whee
-Recommend any good comics/manga?
Honestly, I haven't really been following anything recently and most of my favorites are things that everyone's seen/read already.
-How long have you been drawing?
Digitally, about 2 and a half years. Before that it was mostly just terrible sketches that I would do every once and a while. xp
-Do you prefer traditional over CG or vice versa?
If I plan on coloring something I definitely prefer digital. I tend to mess up a lot and have to redraw sections of pieces so doing stuff in Sai is a lot more conducive for that. I do enjoy traditional stuff but I usually reserve that for myself since it tends to just be pencil sketches...and I currently don't have access to a scanner...
-What are your artistic weaknesses/strengths?
I feel like I need to work on everything! gonk I'd like to improve on my coloring skills, drawing hands and feet, more complex poses, guys, curly hair, more complex and detailed outfits, perspective, hats, glasses, facial expressions, and so much more! whee I think I'm pretty hard on myself when it comes to my art and it's rare for me to really like something I've drawn.
-What are your art pet peeves?
I don't like drawing characters with hats...they never seem to turn out right and it always looks wonky to me. The same goes for glasses. Not a big fan of super complex outfits just cause I lack the skills to make them look good. Clutter kind of goes along with that. It also bugs me when the anatomy isn't right, both in my own work and others.

Feet. I hate feet. They look weird. That's all I have to say about this

-How long have you been drawing?
I have been drawing since I was very young, but I have been drawing seriously for about 6-7 years.
-Do you have a favorite artist?
I have many favorite artists. My top five are Alphonse Mucha, Charlie Bowater, Lois Van Baarle, Marta Dahlig, and Endling(on Deviantart, I don't know his real name)
What's your favorite medium?
I am a digital artist and mostly draw with a mixture of photoshop, corel painter, tablet and pencil sketching.
-Recommend any good comics/manga?
I am a fan of FullMetal Alchemist(hence my name). I also love Ouran High School Host Club, D.Gray.Man, Katekyo Hitman Reborn and many others.
-Do you prefer traditional over CG or vice versa?
I prefer CG for coloring and traditional pencil sketching for the lineart. For me, it is really difficult to get varied clean line strokes with a tablet.
-What are your artistic weaknesses/strengths?
I have a weakness drawing people in motion, and poses. I also suck at drawing legs. My strengths would be drawing ladies, faces and torsos.

with a Fine Arts Degree, but for now I doodle and occasionally color with markers and color pencils.

I'm addicted, but dear Andrew is working on the game so the updates aren't exactly regular,
which if you haven't started yet you don't have to worry about as much
since there's around 8000 something pages.
-How long have you been drawing?
Ever since I was little I was a little artist haha,
digitally I've been at it for around... 5-6 years.
-Do you prefer traditional over CG or vice versa?
I actually prefer CG, because I feel more confident in my digital coloring skill.
That and I just generally feel that my digital art is a lot more.. clean..? I guess.
-What's your favorite store for art supplies?
Ooh... well I don't exactly have one yet,
but I'm sure I'll find one to fall in love with as I proceed through college.

I definitely feel as though I'm better at drawing women, not that I can't draw men..
I just haven't had as much practice or models... I have my own body for reference, but with guys...
they don't have boobs or the same kind of no no square or etc. haha.

Oh gosh..
Where do I start?
Uhm... I guess I don't like when things are extremely unbalanced/unproportionate?
I'm a little OCD so I'll work on a drawing for hours on end just to get the proportions right.
I don't like when shading is a bit too obvious, as in.. it doesn't blend with the original color. |
