In the darkness, Natsumi could hear a voice, a very familiar voice, a voice that she loved. She was in between earth and heaven, or was it hell? She turned towards the direction of the voice, pleading for her to return, her heart ached.

She finally turned and darted as quickly as she could towards the voice, and she felt a rushing, cool, wet sensation come over her, and then she felt like she was floating in water. She started to breathe shallowly once again, very weakly, but she was alive. After a couple more minutes, and barely with a voice, she opened her eyes, very heavy, yet, still in a graceful like manner, said his name.

"Nyx...? I...thought...I died...."

Amber was overcome with grief. She couldn't believe what she had done, she walked up to Marrok, shakily, tears streaming down her now bleeding face.

"Please...I beg you...Kill me...I don't want to remember what I did...I don't want to remember doing such horrible things to my sweet, innocent, little sister....I really wanted to tell her how sorry I was...I was too weak to break from his hold....I'm so pathetic...so useless..." She just started sobbing, "I wish I could've been the older sister I wanted to be for her...."

She hung her head, her red hair hanging in front of her face, her pained expression, how much grief she was pouring out. She was worn, horrified, and exhausted; weak within herself.

"I wish...I could just redo everything again...in the right way...be her older sister....be proud of her like I did when we were young...I wish I could tell her...how sorry I really am...."

Focusing his eyes on the sound of a hoarse voice. He lifted his head up a little to look eagerly at what he had just heard. It was Natsumi voice, the voice he loved so dearly. Using the last remains of his energy. Nyx wrapped his arms around her as tightly as he could. Though to her it might have felt like a light hug.

I brought you back to life...and thank god it worked!

He said in her mind, feeling the familiar connect he had once had with her. She was alive and all that hope he held in his heart paid off. "P-please....don't ever scare me like that again....I don't want to loose you." Nyx soft in her ear as he sneezed her again with as much strength he could try to muster before kissing her lips to stop her from replying back.

Looking over to Amber who had just walked up to him. Marrok wasn't all too pleased at how she was insisting for one of them to kill. Shrugging a bit at watching as Amber broke down crying once more. He let out a sigh and shook his head. "I'm not going to kill you...That is not my judgment to decide if you live or die. It's there's." Marrok said as his eyes traveled back to the two in the water having a quiet beautiful moment together. That was just one of the many excuses he gave the poor girl, he had a lot more. Like for one, he wouldn't let these two kin in his arms see violence he could display. Both Nyx and Natsumi would have gotten pretty upset with him if he did. Plus he didn't have the heart to kill someone that regained their control, feeling the guilt and remorse for doing such a thing. It was already a punishment enough for having the weight of guilt on her shoulders. Glancing back at her, his eyes held sympathy in them for how she was handling this and he guess he would try to make her calm down a bit. "You can't redo everything that fate has already took control of...the only thing you can do is try to make up for it and do as you said....apologizes to her."

I'm so...so sorry....
Her small voice murmured in his mind, Please....believe Amber...I never did anything....because I knew how she really was...he tried to get me under his power too...I was too strong-willed for him to sedate. She kissed him back, longingly, and lovingly.
It was your voice...that brought me back...

Amber was still tear-stained. "I know..." she said in a soft, hoarse whisper. "But I don't deserve it. My sister's lucky to have found someone like Nyx. She looked over towards them, "I think I will....apologize..."

Natsumi finally opened her eyes, and pulled away slightly, "I love you...so much...I think...we should give her a chance...I can't walk myself, much less hold myself up...I'm still weak...but I want her to hear me..."

Amber started to walk towards them, and when she was nearby, tears were streaming down Amber's face.
"Natsumi...I'm so...so...so...sorry...I wanted so badly to regain control before anything happened...I am so ashamed...I can't believe what a horrible sibling I was...I--"

Natsumi shushed her with a smile, "I know. I love you too. I know you were being used. Which is why I did nothing. I trust you. I know you would've never done something like that if you were actually in control of yourself."
She smiled softly, "I forgive you..." tears fell down her face, and she smiled.

Staring at Amber for more then a minute. He was sure he heard a little bit of envy in her voice when she noted how lucky her sister was. Natsumi wasn't just lucky, it was a miracle that she was able to do prevent the unthinkable with Nyx. The wild dangerous Pantherian he was. Nyx wasn't to be taken lightly in situations that were threatening. At times Marrok was even scared of the guy but he wouldn't admit it because he wouldn't let him.
Nodding his head in agreement to her what she said about going over there and apologizing. Marrok continued to cradle the two young ones in his arms as he watch the scene unfold between the three. This indeed would be interesting.

Deepening the kiss more with every atom in his body. He didn't want to let go of her. It was like they had been away for a long time and no came back to greet each other with kisses. Feeling her pull back made him groan with desperation. But she was right, though he wouldn't admit it fully in his heart. There was still a small dark spot in his heart that would resent her for what she did, control or not. When a mans family was threaten nothing was more serious and frightening then that...not even him dying. Hearing her older sisters familiar voice, he stiffen for a moment as he turn to look at her with a hard stare. Nyx pulled her up like she wanted him to but held onto Natsumi in possesive sort of way. Having that 'I'm not sharing' vibe. But he forced himself to relax since Natsumi wouldn't appericate it one bit if he was making her sister feel uncomfortable.
Listening to Amber apologize. He sorta felt envied for her. She still had a sibling yet he lost his only younger brother. But hiding that deep in his heart where no one would see it, he listened to the two and a bit happy Natsumi gave her a chance. Wiping the newly formed tears coming down her cheeks. He decide it was time to leave. The more the two stay in the cold water for long...one of them were bound to get sick. Mustering up all the strength he could possible get. Nyx lifted her up and treaded through water heading for shore.

Lets go home. I know I'm urging you but both of us can't last like this and we need rest. Marrok can watch the kids for us, I trust him.

Nyx told her in his mind though if the guy ever double crossed him. Marrok would know the meaning of pain. Walking until they were on the edge of the shoreline now. He glanced from Marrok to Amber then back to Natsumi with a frown.

Does she really have anywhere to stay then at your fathers house?



Watching the sappy scene in front of him. If was considerly called a sibling moment. And watching as Nyx eyes moved from everyones then back to Natsumi. Marrok could take a good guess what he was doing. Communication with the mind. How sweet of them. Who knew what they were talking about silently in that telepath way but it sure made a guy get curious.

No....she doesn't....

Natsumi said this silently with a hint of sadness, her eyes widened when she saw the blood on her elder sister's face.

NYX! WHAT HAPPENED TO HER FACE?!

Natsumi said this, almost out of anger, hurt, sadness, and sympathy.

Did you.....get angry...?

She looked back at Nyx, fear in her eyes, "Why?" She whispered, tears starting to flow again.

Please...can she be healed? It wasn't her fault!

She felt overly defensive towards her sister for some reason, she was really upset at this point.

Just make sure she gets somewhere to stay...where is Marrock staying?

Amber smiled softly, or as much as she could before wincing in pain. She sighed, and turned, walking slowly towards Marrock.
"Thank you..." She said, softly, before turning and running away. When she was on the other side of her father's house, she could feel tears stinging the cuts on her face. Her hair was also matted in blood. She had something going on internally, something she was forced to be given as a child....some drug...she couldn't remember, it was all too hazy.

Her vision was blurry, and she could feel a burning in her throat. She coughed into her hand, and her eyes widened in terror as she saw the dark blood.

"Oh no..." She mumbled this weakly, sliding into a sitting position.

"I don't have much time...."

Natsumi was worried, at this point, they were already back at the house, and remarkably, she was back on her feet, and her senses, somehow had gotten sharper. She was pacing and jumping up on the window seat every few minutes, she was uneasy.

"I can't believe this...Nyx...I can't remember.....its hazy....but I remember a drug...or some substance...it was forced down her throat...and he tried to do it with me too, but, I was taken away first....she.....she will die...she...has something going on internally..."

She looked at both men, Marrok and Nyx who sat in the same room.

"She doesn't have much time...."

She went over to her children, and looked in on them.
"Nyx...think about it...what if it was OUR children?"

Jin opened his eyes suddenly as he heard a frantic rustiling comeing from naomi's room. she called something to him."Your wallet?" he looked around. it was sitting on the coffe table infront of him."It's over here." he said picking it up and walking over to her room.

Oh boy....well he knew this was bond to be asked.Hehe....that's exactly what he wanted to say but with Natsumi looking at him with anger and hurt. He was beginning to feel bad he ever laid a claw on the girl. But hey it's was in his true predatory nature to act that defensively for his family. If she got upset at him over something he was bond to do sooner or later to someone. How could she accept what he was fully? Feeling a frown want to tug his lips down at her next question. Nyx could only look at her like she was crazy. He was zapped out of power that could heal let alone three scars. Nyx nodded but didn't say anything that could help in the situation since he needed to rest. A two or three days and maybe he could get rid of the scar. Next her third question actually made him frown only more.

Marrok is staying with us until I get back on my feet, 100% power restored.....Amber could always st-

He was cut off when the girl bolt away from the three and disappeared. Well so much for asking if she wanted to stay with them. Heading back home he had decided being a panther would have to be his only way to stubbornly keep clothes off of him and relax on the floor without any hasle put upon him. Nyx was beat and just wanted to rest. Laying away from Natsumi and few inches closer to the cradle. He had his eyes closed shut but he was as alert as any feline that was light sleeping and listening to his wife bounce up and down from the energy rush she had began to feel.

Once they got back to the house he had been leaning against the wall across from where the door and cradle was. Keeping his eyes on Natsumi then to the cradle like the watchful predator. He was keeping a straight face on in front of the two...especially Nyx who was on the ground snoozing like the big cat he was. Natsumi hadn't kept still the whole time they had come home and while she sat inpaitently on next to the window. Marrok could tell something was on her mind...but what? Hearing the first words she spoke ever since she sat there. He could only be puzzled by what she was talking about.

We're talking about Amber right?

He said as he opened one lazy eye at her before looking to Marrok a bit tiredly.

I wouldn't forgive the b*****d if he tried that with our own young ones....

Nyx said a bit coldly before closing his eye again and listened to the others talk once again.

"I can't do much for her...since I don't have the healing touch like Nyx." He said a bit grimly before looking away. Marrok would help the girl but he didn't have that sorta power Nyx and a few others were gifted with. He was blessed with the abilitied average yet top ranking in battle. His eyes lite up for only a second as he thought of an idea. "Wait I got it....no...nevermind..that's something I couldn't give to her and it's something I hold dear to even myself." Marrok felt stupid enough to think about it. He wasn't about to bound himself to a stranger. No way! Though it would indeed save her, Marrok always thought of doing that with someone he'd gotten closer to back home. Marrok wasn't about to have his soul interwine with a human...he couldn't go back home with honor if he did that....

Hearing the sudden respond to her question with 'Your wallet?', she let out a groan of irritation that she might have mistook him for being a human that knew what a wallet was. Kneeling down to her queen size bed, she pulled the frame sheet up and looked underneath to see if the damn thing magically decided to walk on two feet and hide under her bed. Sadly nope, bring her head back up and dropping the sheet down. Naomi heard him speak once again. relieved and a bit worried if knew what her wallet looked like. She rushed out of her room with eagerness only to bump right into him and fall forward with him underneath her. The only words that came out of her mouth as she fell forward was. "Gah!" And then she opened her two different color eyes and looked at him a bit confused. First she realized she closed her eyes on instinct when she fell...second she realized that she was on him. Lips inches away from his own. And both of them stayed silent and didn't move. Naomi was the first to do something as he eyes traveled to the wallet that was still in his hand. "O-oh thanks...." She couldn't say much since she felt flustered and a embarrassed for having to fall on the guy. Usually she didn't care but for some reason she felt more aware he was a guy then most boys she befriended. Pulling back slowly, she got to her feet and looked away with red stubbornly shown on her pale soft cheeks. Gosh did it suck to fell like this towards a guy.

Natsumi could feel tears sting her eyes, "Well, if you two don't do anything....she'll die...within the next hour...."
She wiped the tears away, "I'll go find her if no one else will...at least I will get to see her once more before she dies."

She was hurt, and upset. She walked out, and went to go find her sister. Somehow, her senses her much sharper, her eyesight ten times clearer, her hearing, beyond perfect, and her sense of smell overpowering and very sensitive.

The young red-head scanned the streets until she found her.
"AMBER!"
She ran over to her weak looking sister, and gasped when the smell of her blood overwhelmed her.
"Amber...I wish...I wish I could save you...I'm so sorry...older sister....I wish none of this....happened to you..." She hugged her close, getting Amber's blood on herself.
"This is not right...that I should live...while my older sister suffers...."

Amber smiled weakly, "No...Natsi...don't say that....just do me a favor...be happy with Nyx...don't let him down...tell him I'm sorry...for everything...that I wish I could turn back time...and erase what I did...."

"AMBER! STOP TALKING LIKE YOU ARE ON YOUR DEATH BED!" Natsumi didn't want to believe this was the end, "Stop that...please...." she squeezed her elder sisters hand, tears streaking her cheeks.
"I want my children to have an aunt..."

"I was damned to my own fate....when I let myself be sucked in....I wish I could watch them grow...." Amber was lying down in her arms at this point, her face and body bloody, and weak. She smiled.
"Don't...give...up..."

"NO! AMBER! DON'T!" She sobbed, "Don't leave me....please...."

"Woah" Jin said as he fell backwards suddenly.He hit with a soft thud and looked at Niomi who was about two inches away from his face. she broke the silence with a thanks for her wallet.Jin stood up.he could see her face going red. "umm....."he was about to say something when there was a knock at the door."umm i'll get it." he walked over to the door and looked through the peephole. it was her friend from yesterday.

Staying few doors down from his newly moved in friend and her fiancee. He had felt very worried about her during the night alone with the strange guy. If they had left from Hakkaido together. Why did Jin have to come with her? The guy didn't look all to happy when she admited why he was there but it wasn't like he needed to go with her here to Kyoto. Feeling his irritation start to get the best of him. Daji stopped thinking about it as he noticed he was right in front of Naomi door. I guess sometimes his feet had a mind of there own. Taking his hand to the front of the door. He knocked a few times before wating for an answer.


"Y-yeah." That was the only word she could force her lips to say once he noticed her looking like the girl she really was. Luckily when that knock on the door interrupted them. It saved her from being anymore humiliated.

Jin opened the door."hey,soo whats up."jin said with a nrvouse laugh and scratched the back of his head.

Quirking a brow at the sudden suspicious actions Jin was doing in front of him. His all to familiar frown return back with a vengeance. Jin was acting pretty weird though Daji didn't know why. "Nothing much just came to check on the both of you." Or better yet Naomi and her well being. Looking over to the side he notice she was a few feet away from Jin and had a slight color of red painted on her cheeks. Ok now something was definitely up. "So what are you guys doing today?" He asked in a casual tone of voice while eying Jin.

Jeez did she always need get overly sensitive about stuff. Natsumi needed to understand and if she wouldn't then where would that lead the two? If Nyx could. He would have snapped at her and told her to get a reality check. Come on, he was WEAK...I mean real weak, to the point none of his powers worked let alone he couldn't move as much as he wanted to. Nyx would have rushed out of there with her if he hadn't drained all his power out. Letting a low growl of irritation slip his mussel. Nyx spoke to Marrok. Isn't wasn't that of human speech. No, it was more like growls and purrs that only his kind could understand. "Marrok...you might need to follow her and help...And I know you don't want to be in this spot where your honor and normal lifestyle is at stake. The galactic federation and Pantherian elders wouldn't stand for what your about to do. But please...It's Natsumi sister....even if you don't know her that much, it's a life that will soon perish from that evil man hands making him win." Opening up one eye yet again. He looked to see Marrok gawking at him like he was nuts for a second but after a minute or two his expression turn into a grim one as he started to understand what Nyx meant.

He didn't think he was going to do something that would put his life at risk but I guess fate had a way of making things hard on him. A human girls life was in his hands and he could either save and be sentence more then a millennium in prison or save his own hide and let her die....The way the options were weighed, he would feel horrible either way and seeing as he was cornered into something difficult. Marrok wasn't surprised that Nyx asked him to do the same as Natsumi was trying to suggest. Then again he felt bad for the guy for being in a problem where his wife needed him but was helpless as a child without his powers and now she was making the two feel bad.

Pushing his weight off the wall, he turn and walked to the door. Only to stop in the doorway and turn slightly to answer Nyx. "I'll do it....But for the children sake, tomorrow night I'm leaving and going back home where I belong.....Even if it means I will be sent to that prison."

"You know...you could always stay here and hide?" Nyx noted though his voice held a friendliness he only shown towards Natsumi. "They aren't going to be merciful on the charges when you get back.....Things could get messy back home." Only he and Marrok knew what destiny had in store for the young Sgt. And that would be kept secret between men and men only. They wouldn't discuss this further at Marrok left the this room.

Softly Laughing to himself like that was an ironic joke to be told. Marrok shook his head and answered back dryly. "I know they'll get worse back at home but I want to keep some of my dignity and be a man facing punishment when needed to. And besides.....It would put your family in more jeopardy then is needed to." Saying those last words he headed out of the house and followed the scent of Natsumi.

It didn't take him long to find Natsumi with Amber. And the stench of blood coming from her was strong, that his nose wrinkled from it. Walking up to the two. He kneel down and quietly took Amber out of Natsumi out of her arms and into his. Using his free hand, Marrok grabbed a out a small veil that contained water. A pure substance that even humans never tasted before. He would have done the ritual in a big body of water like most would have done but he was limited to options at the moment. Taking a big sip from the veil, he didn't swallow it but instead he did the unthinkable. Marrok leaning into her. Pressing his lips gently to part them as he controlled the water into her mouth. They looked like the were kissing but if you knew better it wasn't one. He needed her to swallow quickly so he could work his magic to her wounds while performed the ritual.
