Kingdom Hearts ~Twisted Story~

[Banzai18]

"Okay." Lia eyes her friend carefully as she crawled over the the corner and shoved her butt against it. "Make sure you get some rest too okay, Kouri? You've had a tough day."  

[Rikku-Liia]

Nodding, Kouri leaned her head back, pretending to fall asleep until Lia did. Then she just leaned back, staring up at the sky......."What's gonna happen to us........" She whispered, lowering her gaze to her friend. Of course she hadn't heard...She hadn't wanted her too. But she was worried. Scared.

The next morning, Lia woke right as the sun was rising. She sat up and rubbed her eyes open.

"Mmm..." She pushed her light hair, that was starting to get icky, behind her ears and stood. She walked over to Kouri who was awake, and shook her shoulder to get her attention. "Were you awake all night, Kouri?" She frowned, hoping her friend wouldn't say yes. But she did look tired.  

[Rikku-Liia]

Jumping as her friend shook her shoulder, Kouri looked out of it. "Huh? Oh, nah, I slept a little bit." So she lied. It wasn't anything knew. She'd had to scare off three dogs and a hobo while Lia had been sleeping. Stretching and giving a yawn, she stood up, leaning against the wall. "Where to now? Any idea?"

"Maybe we should look around for clues of where we are." Lia wondered. This place seems really different from home." She bent her neck so she could stretch out the crooks and the tightened feelings in her mucsles from sleeping on hard stone.

Then she shivered as a breeze flew by. "Maybe we could find some warm clothes, or food, or something too." And then it magically started to snow.  

[Rikku-Liia]

Putting a hand out as it started to snow, she took a step forward. Yelling, she put a hand to her side, dropping to one knee, her face screwed up in agony. She'd definitely messed up something in that explosion....

"Hey! He-oh....."

Looking over her shoulder, Kouri spotted a girl in a dress, watching them in confusion and worry. "Uhm.....You....You guys need a place to stay? You aren't Hollows are you?"

"Yeah..." Lia looked at the girl as she knelt next her friend. "Kouri, don't wait to tell me when you hurt yourself! It's not fair to either of us."  

[Rikku-Liia]

Glowering, Kouri said "Funny, I thought it wuz ob'vous." sarcastically as the girl said "Wait right here, I'll go get some help!" and dashed off.  

[Banzai18]

"You were unconscious." Lia growled. "And you just like to hid from me when you get hurt because I supposedly worry too much. Which I don't. I worry just the right amount to make you feel cared for." She humphed at the end as she tried to help Kouri up.

"What do you think she meant by saying we aren't Hollows?" Lia asked after she got over her grumpiness. "Things are getting weirder by the minute..." she whispered.  

[Rikku-Liia]

Shrugging, Kouri pointed as the girl ran back, a taller, older boy similar to her following. Presumably her older brother. Looked a few years older than them at least. Jogging up, he grabbed Kouri's arm, pulling it over his shoulder to help Lia, though he ended up doing the rest of the work as they make it to a quaint brick-built house. "You can stay here for a bit. Where are you from?" Asked the girl as Kouri sat down in a straw-bent chair, groaning. "My names Tilli Dauford, and this is my brother Blue."

"My name is Lia." Lia said as she smiled lightly. "And this is Kouri." She motioned to her friend. "We're from these islands... What's this place?"  

[Rikku-Liia]

"The islands? Oh, you mean Destiny island? That place is FAMOUS!" Her eyes sparkling, Tilli grabbed Lia's hands with a look on her face that stated she thought she was meeting a legend. "This is Hollow Bastion! Have you ever met Kairi or Sora?!"  

[Banzai18]

"We've heard of them." Lia said. "Nobody knows where they are though..." She trailed off as they reached their destination. Tilli showed them inside, and Blue put Kouri on the couch.  

[Rikku-Liia]

Sitting down with a sigh, Kouri tried to fight off the pack of ice Blue held out, but due to his agressive opinion, she took it in the long run as he inspected the wrappings. "These need to be changed. The bloods dirty. I'll be right back." Jogging away, she watched him go as Lia and Tilli spoke.

"Oh....Well....It HAS been over twenty years since they saved everybody...." Pouting, Tilli watchd Blue go. "I'll make you something to eat. Any preferances or do you not mind?"

"We don't care." She covered Kouri's mouth with her hands to keep her from protesting. They were guests after all. As Tilli skipped away, Lia turned to her friend.

"Why do you think that guy sent us here?" She wondered. "Did you take any time to look around the cabin before coming outside?"
