Battle Between the Races (a vampire/phaerie/werewolf/elf rp)

"Yeah. Plenty of spare bedrooms if you need a place to crash some night. Our parents don't mind, we always bring home strays," he glanced at the house quick and then back at Anastasia, "and we're open all hours. You could come check it out sometime soon.
"Now, shall we continue?"

Jack continued driving, a little slower than usual, but not by much. "So... How did you end up here? If you don't mind me asking," Jack asked, a hint of nervousness slipped through his voice, but it wasn't extremely noticable, except for to him. This time he tried a little more confidently, "I mean, how would someone like you end up in this silly town? You struck me more as a city person." Jack slowed even more so he could hear Anastasia over the rushing of the wind past the windows.

Chi was worried, "I didn't wake you up, did I?" She walked into the dorm upon Kirra's invitation, "Kirra, I can't fight you. You're my best friend here. I need your help. I think that if we can get enough people to boycott the fight then we can stop it. What do you say?"

Jack glanced at Anastasia, and changed the topic, noticing a soft subject. "Our school in the city was attacked. Chris and I were the only ones to survive because of our training in martial arts, so they sent us here," he shrugged making it seem like no big deal. Yeah, defeating a group that not even the teachers in an "all-vamp" school could defeat was a big deal, but the glory wasn't worth the carnage.

"Its fine, its fine," Kirra fluttered back onto the edge of the bed, watching Chi pace. Brown eyes drifted around the room as Kirra thought over Chi's plan. "There are two problems with your boycott idea. One, the students aren't even supposed to know of the war, and if they do figure out by our doing, then we could get locked up. And two, we hardly know anyone, we would never get enough people," Kirra hated bursting Chi's bubble, but she wanted Chi to rethink all of the consiquences and work this would take.

Jack gripped the wheel, "The principal and teachers took down most of them. There were still too many to get out though, and that is where everyone else went down." Jack shook his head as if it were an etch-a-sketch, trying to erase a terrible doodle. "I would have given up too if Chris wasn't there. I didn't want to live with the nightmares, but it would have been harder if I gave up... I mean, if I watched my sister struggle... If she..." Jack spaced out for a moment, but glanced back up and grinned at Anastasia. "But if I knew what I would have now, giving up would never have been an option."

Jack laughed, not mockingly, but playfully, "Don't worry, you don't need to say anything." Jack's face also quickly turned slightly pink, but went away before anyone could notice. Jack was pro at keeping outward signs of emotions in. He could fool a lie detector.
"Do you really live this far from the school? I don't think I could allow you to walk this far."

"Are you sure?" Jack raised an eyebrow, "I could walk you up to your house if you want." Jack usually isn't this nosey, but Anastasia seemed somewhat edgy, he wanted to make sure everything was alright.

Jack nodded good-bye and drove back to his house. I hope she's alright. She was acting even stranger than usual... Jack waved it off and continued home to be greeted by Chris' warnings.
"You're lucky mom and dad weren't home yet, they would have killed you! Just a little longer and-" Chris ranted.
"Yeah, yeah, I know," Jack nudged her aside and went up to his room to finally procrastinate on his homework.
