sweatdrop Sorry if I seem more than just curious but, I've always wondered what card magic was all about. My mother told me about this kind of magic but I have never seen it before. What is your name if I may ask?  

[Lady Lunar Phoenix]

She looks between the new guy and the older guy then goes for the Victorian version of Cliff notes of Tarot.
"Either they Originally were playing cards used by royalty. Or used by people seeking to study forbidden arts without factual proof against them. I use this deck for trying to narrow down the broad range of possibilities. I use the other to kick people around like a ball. And now on to more important things like..." She turns her attention back to the older man.

*Vishno steps back and begins to think. He wonders about this woman and the magic she uses. He always wanted to meet someone well studied in this kind of magic and he finally did.*

Vishno thinks: Hmm, what a very interesting lady. I am rather surprised to see her having two decks. My mother told me this kind of magic only required one but, could this be a somewhat different kind of magic? Maybe I can ask her later about this. It seems rather strange that she doesn't want to share her name...

*Vishno now turns to Lyra who seems to want to put her crossbow down*

Vishno still whispering: Excuse me Lyra I don't mean to pry but, why did you come here?

*Koru shifts in stance mildly, growing a little impatient. He doesn't like standing around waiting. He wants his task and wants to do it now. Time may not mean much to an immortal, but it sure does aggravate him when it's being wasted in his eyes*

Lyra looked at Vishno and put her cross bow down. She already regarded the people around her as not a threat to her being. " I was sent here because my second teacher told me that Dracula lives near. I must eliminate him and return with the tooth of Dracula which has been said to have a lot of importance. now, don't tell me that we are gonna try to kill him in a group becaused if you ask me that's what i call a bad idea."

Lyra looked at the old man and wasn't quite sure what to make of him. He reminded her of her first master that fell to the hands of vampires not too long ago. It was some thing of the past so she put it behind her until it was really necessary.

"Dracula huh? I don't know who that is but I came here to figure out why I'm in this land. Thank you Lyra."

*Vishno now turns towards the old man as he wonders if he knows why all of these people came to be here. He wants to speak but he senses that the old man is about to do or say something.*  

[Lair Argyra]

The old man sighs for he sees how futile is to ask young people to stay quiet at a library. It doesn't seem to matter anyway. He is grateful that so many people have volunteered for the job.
"Greetings. Most of you have gathered here to put an end to Dracula's Curse, and some of you have been chosen by fate."

The old man pauses for a bit, studying the faces of everyone in the library.
"As of now, Dracula's Castle has its gate closed and magically sealed, while the Curse is plaguing Transylvania."

He clears his throat.
"The only way to end the Curse is inside the Castle. The only way to gain access is with all 5 parts of Vlad gathered, and an invocation I've been researching on. These 5 parts are scattered throughout Transylvania under the possession of 5 different monsters. You must retrieve these items and bring them here. I will be preparing each part for the invocation while you retrieve the rest."

"The first part, which is owned by a werewolf, is not very far from here. Please hurry and retrieve the Nail of Vlad from the werewolf; time is of the essence."  

[chippbogard]

Lyra looked at everyone and decided that she didnt want to waste any more time then she already has. " Okay then. Im on my way to where ever that is." She began to walk out, not quite sure which direction she would walk in. She was hoping that some one would give her a clue, but she had to learn to stop depending on so many people.

The old man sighs for he sees how futile is to ask young people to stay quiet at a library. It doesn't seem to matter anyway. He is grateful that so many people have volunteered for the job.
"Greetings. Most of you have gathered here to put an end to Dracula's Curse, and some of you have been chosen by fate."

*Vishno begins to ponder about what the old man said while he paused*

Vishno thinking: He may as well be referring to me and someone else here.

*As the old mand kept on talking he listened well to each word of it. Not knowing why he ended up here, he figured his best bet was to gather as much information as possible. Right after he stopped talking, he realized Lyra was about to step outside and quickly turned towards her and garbbed her by the shoulder.*

"Wait Lyra! We still have to know which direction we're supposed to go. I have no idea if this dracula is the reason I'm here but I'm willing to do something for the people here. *he turns now to the old man and* Listen sir, umm, can you tell us more about the whereabouts of the werewolf? And more importantly, can you explain more about who this Dracula is and who you are?  

[KoruKinshi]

*Koru lifts his head, turning his gaze towards the direction of the old man and Vishu, listening carefully*

. o O ( Finally, an objective. Now we're getting somewhere. Once I find out where this garou is, then I will be on my way to bring back one of the five pieces... )

*He stands, stepping closer to the conversation*  

[Lady Lunar Phoenix]

"Hmmm if there were more of us I'd just say give us all the locations. Then we could split up in groups. Say Grandfather... Got map?" Tarot looks over at the old man.  

[hypnocrown]

*Vishno looks at Tarot for a second, he begins to ponder at her suggestion and questions whether it's a good idea or not. However, he decides to wait for the old man to respond to his questions before he adds anything else to the conversation.*  

[Lady Lunar Phoenix]

Tarot suddenly smacks herself in the forehead. "Lunar map too... I need to know when the next full moon is. I'm not big on facing furries that are powered up by the moon. And I'm 'Not' getting myself burned at a stake for trying to use my Moon card to cause a sudden eclipse thank you very much."  

[Lair Argyra]

"You must not be from Transylvania if you don't know about Lord Dracula. He is the Prince of Darkness, that master of all vampires, he who comes back from the dead for eternity to bring chaos. I've been researching on this all my life, and guiding vampire hunters to bring peace to this land."

The old man watches how impatient some of them are becoming.
"Do not underestimate the forces of evil. The guardians of the 5 parts of Vlad are not stupid. They are surrounded by minions of darkness, and even though the Curse is still on its early stages it's power is already too great. Only someone from the Belmont clan is crazy enough to go alone, but even so they are blessed with holy power."

He pauses to look for maps.
"These are maps of Transylvania. I will mark the location of this library on them so you can use it for reference. Werewolves have been spotted attacking a nearby village South of here. They might be connected to the Werewolf Guardian we are looking for. Just follow the path South and you will reach the village."

He hands everyone a map with the location of the library marked on it.
"I will look for more information on the whereabouts of the other 4 parts. Any information you find about them will be helpful as well."  

[KoruKinshi]

*Koru smiles lightly, and suddenly speaks to the old man*

Crazy...? Good sir, I take mild offense to that. I'd call a man like that a man with unbreakable courage, honor, and confidence!

Either way, your assistance will be greatly appreciated. I'm indifferent to when I must engage in battle.

*He takes a map from the man and looks at it for a moment, nodding to himself. He then wraps the map up tightly and stows it away, turning around and heading towards the door, with no other words to anyone else*

. o O ( Hopefully the others can hold their own....if not, hopefully I can soften the agressors enough for them...assuming they're the challenge everyone claims them to be. )
