┌─────────────────────┐♱ ♱ ♱ Nicholas Setsuka Azurian ♱ ♱ ♱└─────────────────────┘ You held me up, you held me high. And I believed when you told that lie. I played soldier, you played king. and struck me down when I kissed that ring. Nicholas laughed at his uncle, who was now fixing his hair. "Sorry, sorry. Also, you should stop with the talk about wooing her. You act like I'm trying to get her into my bed tonight. I'm just here to have fun." He spoke, offering a small smile. Though he left out the fact that he WAS going to try and actually start a relationship with Ayume.
After his uncle fixed his hair, Nicholas straightened out his hat before wandering further into the festival, looking at all the rides and games taking place. The souls there looked happy and peaceful. Moments like this brought out the nicer part of him. He saw a few kids laughing and running somewhere. Apparently something interesting was going on nearby. About to follow and see what it was, something interesting caught his eye and stopped him. Someone was selling sweets. Cotton candy, cherries, small cakes and more tiny bowls of ice cream. In a span of thirty seconds, he had gone over there, had a small conversation with the owners of the small sweets stand, payed a small amount of ryo, then returned back to his spot with a bowl of ice cream with cherries in it. The heir was addicted to sweets and would drop anything just to get his hands on some. "Anyways, Oji-chan, I-" Someone tugged onto the cuff of his suit, almost making him drop his sweets. "Hey, what are you doing?" He asked, till he saw that it was a kid he met a few weeks ago. "Seti-sama! You have to check this out!" The child spoke before dragging along the prince, who just followed along. He wasn't really doing anything else after all.
Nicholas was a tiny bit surprised when he saw a familiar white haired girl performing a few parlor tricks to a growing group of children. His blue eyes then settled on a darker sight, that of a pink haired girl, who smiled along with her sister. He knew them both, of course, as he had a date with one of them.
"Having fun over there?" The heir asked with a smile towards Ayume.
...You've lost that right, to wear that crown. I built you up, but you let me down. So when you fall, I'll take my turn. And fan the flames when your blazes burn. ┌───────────────────┐ └───────────────────┘

Ayume had let out a little gasp of wonder at a spirit who was swallowing fire and spitting out. Her crystalline blue eyes were wide in awe, her hand reaching out and grabbing her sister, hugging to her happily. It was nice...and for the few minutes Ayume forgot they were there on family business. She was laughing freely like an innocent child when a voice called out, familiar and yet distant to her ears.
She froze before turning for a split second, her face immediately turning somber and official as she turned her blue gaze upon Nicholas and his Uncle. She turned her entire body and gave a polite bow to them.
"It is always a pleasure to see you, Iinazuke-sama. "
Ii na zu ke. The words used to describe one who was promised to marry in the Japanese culture. She straightened up and walked to him slowly, her feet silent on the ground. She was careful to look at the ground - afraid that he would disagree with her eyes. She'd yet to look him in the eye after the initial meeting. 'Too much water...' Grandmother Kuchiki's voice rang through her head painfully. Sage spoke up then - directing his words at her, and she flicked her eyes over to the attractive man who she knew to be Nicholas' uncle
"Iinazuke-sama? First of all. Don't call him sama. That makes him sound important doll-face. Call him Chibi-taicho! That way you don't feel like you have to take him so seriously! He loves that nickname! Wasn't it your sister that started that nickname? I really must thank you for that, Akane-taicho." Sage turned his attention to her sister and Ayume flicked her eyes back to the ground, feeling appalled. Call him Chibi-taicho? Did her sister really start something so disrespectful? She fought the temptation to look at her sister - though it was hard to do.
"I apologize if calling you Ii na zu ke offends you, Nichoals-sama." She said softly to him now. Her accent made it hard to say the word as others did, the lack of talking in her life time made some words feel heavy. The word came off as "Neko-las' instead of Nick-oh-las. She gave a soft little sigh, before looking back towards the Fire-eater, finding it hard to remain looking at the ground. Format Made By stormi_weathers

Sage Carisle AzurianSage watched in amusement as Nicholas obtained his sweets midsentence. He shook his head and when he came back with his ice cream Sage crossed his arms. "You're gonna get fat if you're not careful. Sage said cheekily to his nephew before a small child dragged the boy with him. He grinned as the heir went along. The boy was always a sucker for kids - after all Nicholas most of the time reminded him of a kid himself. He followed with ease and he was glad to see that the Kuchiki women had made it alright.
When Nicholas called out to Ayume, and the pretty smile that she'd been wearing disappeared as quickly as ice melts in the sunlight Sage felt an internal sight. Either the girl was damaged or she was secretly free spirited who'd been broken by politics and rules.
She turned and greeted his niece formally and Sage rolled his eyes and cleared his throat. For gods sake the two were gonna be married, why the hell were they so formal. They'd known each other for so long it'd been hard to keep track of the years.
"Iinazuke-sama? First of all. Don't call him sama. That makes him sound important doll-face. Call him Chibi-taicho! That way you don't feel like you have to take him so seriously! He loves that nickname! Wasn't it your sister that started that nickname? I really must thank you for that, Akane-taicho." Now he turned his attention to the pink haired monster that he knew was not as beautiful on the inside as her outside.
Oh the horror stories he'd heard. He was so curious. He totally wanted to delve into that dangerous territory.

Imagining him full of pins was easier when the subject was closer. She had to keep herself from giggling at Ayume's reaction, though. She found it to be simply beyond adorable and was ticked that Nicholas was on the receiving end of it. It was another question just who Akane would have accepted as a brother-in-law, but this was certainly not Nicholas. "Ah, Carlise-san," Akane cooed, seeing the rather depraved old man, coming up behind Nicholas. "I agree. Chibi Taichou sounds far better. More realistic, certainly. But one could also use Nicky-chan. That also has a rather nice, familiar ring to it. Wouldn't you agree?" Here Akane looked to the man like a child asking for approval, batting her large blue eyes and beaming. "Oh, you are far too kind." She said, waving her hand and looking as though this was a compliment that made her blush. "I really can't say any more than that being a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence of true genius. I feel that all other exploits of mine will be downhill from here on end, ya know?" She could sense curiosity from the man. He obviously had some clue to where she was coming from. She had to be careful here, after all 'old age and treachery always triumphs over youth and talent'. He must have been rather clever in his own youth, which had seasoned into cunning with his advance in age. Under his watchful eyes, Akane had to make certain none of her real feelings about this engagement bobbed up. She could easily smooth such things over with Nicholas, and certainly with Ayume, but this guy was a different matter. This was going to be a trial, however, as being this close to Nicholas made her want to skin him and use his skin for draperies. "I'm sure you could come up with far better names then little old me, huh?" She added with a gorgeous wink and a giggle. »»»»» ««««« One last thing before I shuffle off the planet, I will be the one to make you crawl, So I came down to wish crash your beggars' banquet, Someone call the ambulance...........( Out Of Cookiedough: )

Nicholas saw the girl lose her 'light' when she saw him. The moment she caught his sight, her head dropped and she spoke to him as if he had somehow earned her maximum respect, when they haven't really even conversed more than once. His eyes looked at her with slight confusion. "Sama?" The name she called him didn't bother him as much as the honorific did.
The heir always had a problem with respect and authority. He believed that nobody should be above anyone else. For this reason, he hated the way that noble families worked, it was the reason he didn't believe in gods or higher levels of authority. This mindset made him a problem child within his family, made him have to take lessons on respect. No matter how much they tried, nobody could 'fix' his view on authority. If it were up to the elders, Nicholas would never be the heir. His father, however, was interested in the views his son had. Authority and respect of rank was supposed to be important in ruling a kingdom or noble family, however without all of that, without the dividers between rank, it was anybody's guess on what would happen.
The fact that she called him sama got him upset, though only a little bit. Along with that, his uncle and her sister were calling him by that damned nickname again. He knew Akane started it, and he planned to confront her on it at some time, when she didn't have any hidden weapons or handcuffs on her. It didn't take a genius to know that the pinkette would most likely LOVE to be alone with Nicholas with a dagger in her hand. What was really creeping him out at the moment was the way she was smiling at him so much. "Does seeing me really brighten up your day so much, Akane-chan?" He asked with a small smirk. He was going to continue, till Ayume began speaking again. There she went with that honorific once more. What really caught his attention though was the way she spoke his name. It was cute in a weird way. He had never heard it pronounced like that. Trying to ignore the way she said his name, he focused on that damned honorific again.
"Why call me that, Ayume-san? I've hardly spoken to you, and I've hardly done anything worthy of such respect from you. You can call me whatever you like...even that stupid name your sister came up with. Just don't treat me with respect that I didn't earn, okay, sweetheart?" He spoke, giving one of his rare friendly smiles, however it went unseen by the white haired woman he was engaged to. She made sure to look away from him. "You know, I'm not a wild animal, Ayume-san. I won't bite your head off of you make a bit of eye contact." He spoke, being the first to break the distance between them. He walked till he was just a couple steps from the girl. "Besides, your eyes aren't exactly ugly you know. I'd be very sad if I never got to see them on this date of ours." He spoke in a cheerful tone, giving the girl a small, sincere smile. Although he was sure she was as uncomfortable with this date as he was, he just wanted to ease the girl out of her shell.
While the way she was acting was truly adorable, he wanted to see the girl who was laughing and smiling in awe just a moment ago.

Ayume couldn't help but pick on the conversations she heard from her sister and Sage, though she focused on Nicholas as she was supposed to when he began to speak to her. "Why call me that, Ayume-san? I've hardly spoken to you, and I've hardly done anything worthy of such respect from you. You can call me whatever you like...even that stupid name your sister came up with. Just don't treat me with respect that I didn't earn, okay, sweetheart?" She almost looked up at him in her shock. What did he mean - he was a respected nobleman - of course she would give him an honorific such as Sama. They were not exactly on close terms either? And he called her 'sweetheart.' She wasn't sure why - but this made her feel hesitant to answer him. They were due to be married but... there was no formality with this man at all... no sense of propriety.
It was...different. She was not sure if she liked it. Perhaps he was being condescending when he called her 'sweetheart' after all, wasn't that something someone only called someone they cared truly for? They'd not spoken much, they were certainly not close enough to call each other 'san' or 'chan' or 'sweetheart.' She let out a little concerned breath, her cheeks growing pink...
She however realized the dilemma very quickly of the fact that her fiance, arranged or not just gave her a command to call him something more familiar. Even if they were not yet well acquainted, it would disrespect him, and thus, dishonor her family if she did not comply. She nodded at him meekly, though again, his next words shocked her. You know, I'm not a wild animal, Ayume-san. I won't bite your head off of you make a bit of eye contact. He stepped close to her and she very nearly instinctively took a step back. Her right foot lifted ever so slightly off the ground and slide backwards but she caught the motion and stayed her ground. It would be insulting to flinch away from him - would it not? Ugh, all these protocols. There should honestly be a rule that he shouldn't get so close however, it made her anxious that he would hear her heart that was pounding far to loudly in her chest. "Besides, your eyes aren't exactly ugly you know. I'd be very sad if I never got to see them on this date of ours."
Good grief this man. She'd never seen another captain so eager to be rid of formalities and very nearly demand her do actions that would normally be considered disrespectful. However... it was clear. She let out a little nervous, ragged breath and slowly her blue eyes slide up, her head coming up with it to look at his face - though she could not quite look him in the eyes just yet.
"I understand, Nicholas...kun."
Again her gentle feminine voice was soft, and his strange name heavy on her tongue causing it to be spoken in an almost exotic way. She did not speak much, this much was obvious, though it was hard for her eyes to not keep flicking towards the ground. When the honorific came out as a 'kun' her cheeks flushed a gentle pink on her medium complexion. This was going to be a strange night indeed. She turned as Sage extended his arm to Akane in an almost gentlemanly manner and she realized she'd not heard what he'd just said to her beloved sister in response to the jibes on Nicholas. No...her sister was much more suited for word play. She looked back at Nicholas, hesitantly.
"What would you-"
She began to ask him what he would prefer to do first, since they are at the festival but her words were cut shorter then usual as a flock of children came running, squealing in delight as the fire eater had spit his fire back out above their heads. The small woman was taken by surprise as she was smacked into by a young boy, half her height ..... Format Made By stormi_weathers

Sage Carisle AzurianSage smirked at Akane as he crossed the space to her as she looked to him for approval for the new tormenting nicknames that he was sure Nicholas would absolutely abhor. "I love the name Nicky-chan. It has a classical ring to it, it wraps all of the adorable childlish characteristics he has all in one." He practically purred. "Do you mind if I use the name later on for my own personal interest ...against him? To show my affections to him of course, nothing else." He said, resistin the temptation to look over to see if Nicholas was making that grumpy face he so loved to see. But her next words interested Sage much more, and he listened to her cute, sickeningly sweet voice chime on.
"Let's seeee - Oh I have come up with some interesting ones in the past but..." He leaned in close to Akane now and grinned. "Forgive me but I believe there are some things that shouldn't be said in front of innocent young women. Shall we protect your sister's virtue by digressing away from such topics until we are over a cup of sake or tea together?" Sage murmured, his purple flickering with mischief. Oh yes, this would certainly be fun. He offered his arm to Akane, as if asking permission to be her escort for the evening. Why not? he might as well have some fun.
Not to mention, this Akane... She was a looker - and she knew how to work her good looks to her advantage. However a player could spot a player from a mile away. And this girl was certainly a master of Chinese Checkers. Sage turned his gaze for a moment, just in time to see Ayume being rammed into by a clumsy rukon rugrat, and her petite body tipping over - right towards Nicholas.

She cooed in reply, pinching one of his cheeks like a grandmother would her grandchild, only rather more strongly and shaking his head, leaving behind an angry red mark behind on his face. "Aren't you going to be my darling little Chibi Taichou brother-in-law?" She was talking as if to an infant. She then watched the faltering interaction between Ayume and Nicholas, not liking it at all. In fact, it was seriously ticking her off. Ayume had a real-world tenacity, she often thought, like that of a jellyfish in a furnace: she was not stupid, or clumsy, and yet she did tend to give people that impression. Her eyes seemed incapable of seeing any darkness, which was why Akane was so worried about her, though she was happy for her; Akane saw darkness no matter were she looked. Akane looked back at Carlise, then beamed. "I would be delighted, if you would!" She cooed again, looking flustered. "Really? Such a shame. I would have been interested. But perhaps we shouldn't go into descriptions, now should we?" She then eyed the offered arm critically, wondering if she should simply whip her katana out and swipe it off an the joint. But then, such an impulse would only lead to unwanted complications. She had to think of the greater relations between the Clans, after all. And this upstart Azurian b*****d probably knew that...It seemed the entire family was of this sort... As she lifted her own arm to accept, she noticed Ayume being knocked over and flying...straight for Nicholas... Without another thought, Akane shunpo-ed right up beside her sister and caught her from behind, but her grip slipped on the material of her dress and she landed right on top of Nicholas. »»»»» ««««« One last thing before I shuffle off the planet, I will be the one to make you crawl, So I came down to wish crash your beggars' banquet, Someone call the ambulance...........( Out Of Cookiedough: WHEEEEEEEEEEE!! I played soldier, you played king. and struck me down when I kissed that ring. He gave a small sigh when she raised her head slightly. At least it was an improvement. Not much, but an improvement. Things got better when she used the word 'kun' rather than sama. He noticed the blush and laughed slightly. "Thanks, Ayume-san. I appreciate that your stepping out of your comfort zone for me." He spoke, a small blush on his cheeks from the way she said his name. It was nice, cute, though he couldn't really tell why. It just got to him. He strayed his eyes and turned his head away, attempting to hide his blush, more than well aware that she was now looking at his face, stopping just below his eyes.
Silence rang between them for a moment and he heard the conversation between Akane and Sage. He was really tempted on killing one of them, probably Sage, who started the conversation in the first place. Yeah..it would be easier to kill him. They slept in the same house after all. "Remember, Oji-chan, I know where you sleep." He let out the words before looking back to his fiance, who began speaking once more.
He never caught all her words, though he could put two and two together. He knew what she was going to say, however he never got to reply because I rukon boy ran past Ayume and bumped into him lightly. "Hey...-" He turned his head to look at the boy, however he felt Akane's spiritual pressure suddenly get very close. He turned back to look at them and saw his white haired fiance falling into him. He held his hands out to stop her from falling, the light force of her moving into him forcing his back into one of the stalls. Holding back a grunt from the wooden stall hitting his back, he turned to smile at Ayume, however it quickly fell when he realized that whatever he grabbed was soft...and round. His cheeks heated up quickly and he tried to pull away, however his elbows were pressed to the stall. The only way to move himself was to move his hands forwards so he could move, something he could not do without getting slapped or killed. "U-umm, I, d-didn't, I mean, a-ah.…" His voice trailed off, his face feeling very hot, he felt not only like a perv, but he felt so bad for doing something like that to the innocent girl. He couldn't even speak. What he really didn't want to do though was move his eyes from her to Sage or Akane.

Ayume felt herself fall forward towards Nicholas, taken completely by surprise. She was a bit in shock as she fell - she'd managed to be knocked over by a child? How much had she not been paying attention. She felt her sisters spiritual pressure come near her, her hands try to grab her, but some how she slipped between Akane's fingers as well, and slammed into Nicholas. He'd been looking away so her body weight must have thrown him off because he stumbled back, as he caught her. When they stopped moving, he was pinned against a wooden stall, and a presure on her chest made her blue eyes wonder down.
What she saw made her freeze for only a second, before she jerked herself back, her face flushing a brilliant red.
"I-I-I am s-s-so sorry. So clumsy...
Ayume stuttered, her eyes going to her sister, in horror. Oh god she wanted to DIE. To melt into the ground. To be eaten by a hollow. Anything was better then this. When Sage began to speak, she turned her head away, biting back tears. Oh dear lord... it wasn't even his fault...

Sage Carisle AzurianSage watched the entire scene without even so much as a flinch. He saw Akane bravely try to rescue the falling Snow princess, and his nephew try to catch the girl even though he was caught by as much surprise as she was. His purple eyes watched with interest as she slammed into him, and his hands went up instinctively and ... .ohhhhhh this was to good. DELICIOUS. Simply devine.
Akane was going to kill him. A chesire cat grin spread across his face as Ayume backed away and stammered an apology, looking simply horrified, and terrified and so adorably vulnerable. If that wasn't his nephews betrothed he would have swooped in to rescue her, and maybe try to get rid of that adorable innocence while he was at it. But ...instead.
"Oohh ho ho. What is this? Nephew, you will be married soon enough stop rushing! Poor innocent girl. Could it be Nicky Chibi Taicho is actually a Heeeeennnnntai-chan? Hentai hentai taichoooo Nicholas Azurian. The shame to our family. Akane-san, despite our earlier conversation about conserving her virtue, my completely perverse nephew has gone and violated her. I must apologize on behalf of the Azurian family...."
Oh he was being so wicked, but this was TOO good. Not often did anything so hilarious, and WONDERFUL happen all at once. sage of course, knew he would need to protect his nephew from the rage of the pink haired dragonness who was bound to be spitting flames in about... three.... two.... one...

"D-dont worry about it...it wasn't your fault.".He spoke, looking away from her, ironically not wanting to look this girl in the eye now. When Sage began speaking, he sighed, taking his hands out of his pockets to remove his limiter ring before putting it back into his pocket, leaving one hand out. After that he did something rather unexpected. He put one arm around the shoulder of his fiance and walked off with her. He had caught sight of her expression and instantly felt bad for the girl. He wouldn't let her stay there and withstand Sage's teasing, nor Akane's rage.
"Come on, Ayume-san, Let's see what there is to do around here. It's getting boring just standing around." He spoke, smiling down at the girl before looking back and giving Sage a grin, taking his other hand out of his pocket and snapping. The eyes of the heir turned a scarlet red for a second, his hair a dark silver. A small, hardly visible bolt of reiatsu then flew towards Sage, though not at his body. The bolt would have shot directly above his head and if it hit, all the hair in the middle of his uncle's head would have been cut off, leaving what could be called a reverse Mohawk, or the old man look. "See you later, Oji-chan." He spoke abit deviously, not bothering to see if the bolt hit or not as he turned the corner, his hair and eyes returning to their original colors in an instant.
"Sorry about all that, Ayume-san. My Oji-chan teases a lot. I didn't want you hearing all that though." He spoke, looking around for something interesting to do, Maybe a game to play. His arm was still around the shoulder of his fiance, however he appeared to be oblivious to the fact that he was holding her. It was natural protective instinct for him.

"D-dont worry about it...it wasn't your fault." Ayume was humiliated. Not only had she gotten knocked over but she'd fallen into Nicholas, and forced him into an uncomfortable situation. She was trying to think of a way to soothe the situation over, to make the attention get off of Nicholas (as it wasn't his fault anyways) When he sighed and pulled his ring off his finger, then wrapped an arm around her shoulder. Her blue eyes looked up at him in surprise, forgetting formalities in the over whelming moment (all this stimulation could not be good for one person) and look up at his own blue eyes. Oh ye....she'd forgotten his eyes were blue too. They were a darker, prettier blue. They did not look like ice but actual water...
"Come on, Ayume-san, Let's see what there is to do around here. It's getting boring just standing around." As he began to walk away with her, her small frame going along with his lead naturally his hair changed before her eyes and she watched with interest. He snapped his fingers as they walked away. Ayume wanted to see what happened but she couldn't, and Nicholas bid his uncle 'see ya later.'
When he turned to her and began to speak she remembered her place and her eyes wondered back in front of her, being very careful not to fall again. "Sorry about all that, Ayume-san. My Oji-chan teases a lot. I didn't want you hearing all that though."
"It's okay...I should have been more aware of my surroundings. Thank you... for catching me, Nicholas-kun. I am sorry I put you in a strained situation. "
Again, the strange way of saying his name, her soft gentle voice. Her cheeks were still burning red but she was not as embarrassed now. He'd not meant to do it, and he'd been just as surprised and embarrassed as she'd been. His face had turned the color of blood after all when it'd happened so she knew... his intentions were nothing bad. She didn't comment about his arm still being wrapped around her. It was almost comforting, besides if her betrothed wanted to hold her like this, she should let him right? Considering they were going to be married - they would eventually need to be a lot closer.
She did take the time to wonder if her sister was alright. Oh she must be furious with Ayume. She would apologize later, and make sure her belove Onee-chan was not upset with her for being shamefully clumsy. For now, she needed to focus on the date. Or she'd never get to know her fiance. Her eyes looked up at games around them. There were traditional games around them, and she couldn't help but smile at everyone trying to win the prizes available. Though...there were several games around she'd never seen. A man was holding rings out, and bottles lined up. She looked at it with a raised brow - obviously curious.

He noticed the girl looking at his eyes, and He took the chance to look down at hers. They were such a light shade, Nicholas enjoyed them. "There they are." He would speak in a barely audible voice. He really did like those big eyes. The color was interesting and it was hard to not take interest in them. When she finally looked away, he frowned a bit, however He didn't get a chance to comment on it because she spoke. He was upset, however just a little. His goal was that he would make her smile, laugh, and look him in the eyes by the end of the night.
Her words made him sigh a little bit. "It's over and done with, Ayume-san. I don't want you to apologize, but if you will so will I. I'm sorry for not paying more attention, I was too late and caught you on the last moment, causing me to...grab you. I'm more at fault than you. I shouldn't have turned away for that moment." He looked down at her eyes, showing her he was sincere, however he knew she probably wouldn't look back. Looking down a bit more, he could see her blushing cheeks. It was the same as his own. Bringing it up just then didn't help. Deep down, he hoped that what he did wouldn't mess things up between them at all, however them two walking alone with his arm around her, and the fact that she had looked into his eyes for a moment proved otherwise. Now he just had to make her smile.
His blue eyes looked around the area, watching all the games with his date, who he had yet to learn anything about. He looked back to the girl, who looked interested in something. He followed her eyes to see a game, which involved rings and bottles. He smiled a bit, having a feeling that he knew what the game was. "You look interested. Come on, let's find out what's going on over there." He said, a happy smile on his lips as he approached the stand.
Nicholas, growing up mostly in the Rukon, had plenty of experience in many games and always enjoyed playing them. If Ayume wanted to play, he'd be happy to do so with her.
...You've lost that right, to wear that crown. I built you up, but you let me down. So when you fall, I'll take my turn. And fan the flames when your blazes burn. ┌───────────────────┐ └───────────────────┘

Ayume didn't say anything to him when he apologized. She simply flicked her eyes up at him for the briefest of moments. What, did he expect to be looking at her every second of the day. Either way - it was an accident that could have been prevented - and it wasn't as if she was going to be upset with him for trying to stop her from falling. Even if it did lead to an uncomfortable situation. She let out a soft sigh instead of responding however, and looked back over at the game. A few people had gone up to it, and paid - then began to try and throw the rings over the bottles. She watched with an even gaze as they missed - nearly every one. Most of these festival games were rigged so that people would lose but from this distance she could not tell how this one could be.
Nicholas must have caught her gaze, as she watched the game proceed because he spoke again. "You look interested. Come on, let's find out whats going on over there." She was about to protest when he pulled her along, his arm still draped about her shoulder. This man had no sense of personal space it seemed - didn't he realize it could be deemed inappropriate for them to touching so much before the wedding? It was then her eyes gazed about them self-consciously and to her dismay she saw women, whispering and pointing, men staring at them.
It was obvious who they were... how many famous couples were there where the woman was said to have hair white as snow and the man hair black as midnight? She felt her cheeks heat up again and her closed for a moment as she turned her corn flower blue gaze on the game master.
"Step right up! Step right up! Win ya prizes here! Get three out of four rings around the necks of the bottles and you can win a prize from the collection of small dolls, four rings will get you one of these cute medium size plushies and five will win you the grand prize!!! It doesn't count if you knock them down!" The game master sang with skill and practice, as if he'd been at this for a long time. "What's the grand prize?" Ayume blurted out before she could pretend she wasn't interested - and she mentally slapped herself - She must seem silly to her fiance, being interested in such trivial things.
A giant dragon!! Well, a soft and cuddly one! See here, see here Little Lady!
The game master gestured behind him on the wall of the stand where giant stuffed dragons . Ayume looked up at them and blinked, her eyes widening ever so slightly. Immediately...she wanted it. She had a special affinity for dragons - though not many people knew it. "Ah... those are so cute."She said out loud quietly, mostly to herself. She nearly forgotten that Nicholas was still draped over her shoulder. She looked down at the game, and narrowed her eyes. So what was the trick to this game? She'd watched the couple earlier... most of the bottles had gotten knocked down when they'd thrown the rings.... Format Made By stormi_weathers 1
