Nyx nodded slowly, closing her eyes. 'What happened to you?' Nyx asked in the same manner.

Noela sat up in a low hanging tree branch, in her hands was a dead squirrel. She rarely got one, but when she did she was very happy. She lived around a busy city and the noise always chased away other creatures. She sighed and threw away the remnants of her treat and hopped down. She landed in a crouch, her arrows and bow clanging together as she straightened herself up. She looked around and noticed that the forest was quite calm. It usually wasn't. She shrugged and started to run.

She zigzagged throughout the trees and over fallen stumps. She grabbed the trunks and would jump, swinging her legs out and then landing again. She loved the thrill of running through the forest.

"The hunter's around these parts arent too friendly towards any creatures..." Lucas answered.

Nyx looked at the wolf. 'A hunter? That's who did this to you?'

Lucas closed his eyes and used an ability that allowed the other to see through his eyes to see what he seen. Turning Nyx's eyes neon pink while he used his ablilty, Lucas showed Nyx the hunter.

Amayeta sat on the window seat; looking out the window to the woods that came up to her backyard. She sipped at her tea and sighed. She longed for company. Usually she had many travelers come in; she often rented the many rooms of her spacious house. She was glad to live in an area that had many visitors and tourists.
She tore her eyes away from the window when she heard a whisper- but it wasn't audible. She could only hear it inside of her mind. Right away her eyes scanned the living room, only searching the many animal pelts that covered the walls, chairs, and floor. Her eyes fell on the silver wolf she kept close to the fireplace. Putting her tea down on a table, she slowly ventured over, the fire illuminating her grey pants and jacket until they were almost the same color as the wolf pelt.
"Wahya. Wolf. You called me?" She whispered.
'I feel a disturbance in the woods. Something is not right.' The wolf answered in her mind. Of course, it wasn't the pelt speaking; rather the spirit who had temporarily inhabited it.
"I haven't felt a disturbance. Are you sure?"
'Most certainly. Yet, I cannot feel if it is now, or near in the future. Keep a sharp eye and an open mind.'
"I will, Wahya." And with that, Amayeta could feel the wolf spirit leaving. And soon, she was just staring at an ordinary wolf pelt.

Lucas jumped at a slight sound as he scanned the forest for the hunter.

Noela stopped running and stood frozen, letting the wind flow through her white hair and she closed her eyes. She listened to wind and felt something shift in the air. She frowned, something was not right. She turned around and looked around, she couldn't really see anything out of the ordinary....but something still didn't feel right.

Nyx looked up, then as if bored looked back down at the wolf. He seemed on edge. Nyx could feel it as well, but it didn't disturb her in the way it did the wolf. So even though she could feel the disturbance she asked, 'What is it?'

Lucas



Lucas didnt answer instead he bolted between Nyx and Nate. At the same moment Lucas jumped, came a bullet that hit the root just inches behind Lucas's foot.

Kaira and Kai walked along the small dirt path. Kaira took out her flute and started playing it. The flute was harmonizing with the jingling bells around Kaira's sleeves. Kai was walking happily beside her. She continued and closed her eyes, still walking calmly.

Lucas didnt look back, he kept running till he couldnt spell the hunter anymore. He curled up behind a tree as he slowly shifted to his human form dressed in native clothing.

Kaira slid her flute back into a homemade strap in her large sleeve. They walked in silence for a while until she saw a person. He looked stressed. Kai made a light kitten sound, and jumped into Kaira's arms. She stroked his head and neck and down his back. Kaira's bells rang slightly as she walked up to the person. "Hello...." She said kindly. "Are you alright?" She asked turning her head slightly in curiosity.

Lucas looked up hearing the sound of the cat and the bells to see someone standing there. "Yeah... Im alright..." Lucas answered as he continued trying to calm down.

Kaira looked at the man for a moment. Kai meowed again as if saying he didn't believe that he was alright. "You have a cut..." Kaira said lightly, she motioned downward with her head. "On your leg..." She continued. Her grey eyes were full of strange curiosity and concern.
