Magic Control

[Tsuki Amu]

Oak bit back her comment, and managed to stop herself from opening a portal right where the teacher stood. Instead she looked over to the rest of the class, trying to guess who would introduce themselves next.  

[Katagonia]

Kat opened her mouth, ready to introduce herself, when she rudely cut off by another student.

"Excuse me, miss," Kit said in her soft voice, now on her feet. "But I hardly think that's fair. You're judging Oak by what she chose to do to express her powers and name. Her creativity is her own." Her voice faltered slightly. She wasn't exactly use to standing up to people, but this was her sister. Well, half-sister anyway. "I also don't think it's fair to judge her by her race. One's race doesn't define one's personality. For example, I once met a very scathing angel, who told me off for accidently knocking over a pot plant. It wasn't even her pot plant! It was mine! None the less, she nagged on and on about it, saying that was a rare species, and . . . I'm getting off topic now. Anyway, I just think it's a bit mean that you would say that, when she's only trying her best." Now flushed bright red, Kit added, "My name is Kitty Ark." She held up her hand, and a small ball of purple flame flared up in her hand briefly, before she fisted her hand extinguishing it. She sat back down, give Oak a sidelong glance. She hadn't felt the need to show off with her powers - a simple ball of flame would suffice. They only needed to know that she could manipulate fire.  

[Luna the Spirit]

Aralugiin was calm throughout all of this. An extremely small tear left her eye. "Well you weren't sold to a Demon now, were you?" She asked sharply as a Large amount of Water rose from the ground in a whirlpool like trap. It then sunk away when she calmed down. "Last person." She said.  

[Katagonia]

((Er . . . Sold to a demon? I don't recall that in her bio. Please don't add stuff like that just when you feel like it.))
Kit didn't blink at the statement, simply replying, "I can't help that, but that gives you no reason to hate the entire species, would you agree? Also, why are you teaching the class of Magic Control if you can't even control your own?"

Kat glowered at the speaking girl, wanting to get the attention moved back to her. Shaking back her hair, she stood up. "My name is Katara Anura. I'm a water manipulator." To prove her point, she dragged a small amount of moisture from the air, holding it a sphere shape over her open palm. It began to float upwards, towards the ceiling. Without warning, the water froze, and then shattered, sending out powder ice and creating a glittery effect. That done, she sat down again, smirking slightly as the shimmering dust fell around her.  

[Luna the Spirit]

(When she was sold to the Arena or whatever she was sold to the owner of it who was a demon)
Miss Bluepath smirked. "Who said I wasn't controlling it?" She asked. "And don't tell me what my reasonings should be or not." She said in a whisper and noticed Kat's trick. She clapped. "Brava that was an excelent use of that power." She told her.

((Hey, Uhm. . .I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but no matter what, you can't just create water. . .That goes against the laws of. . .well. . .logic. SO if you're going to flood the room or something like that, just include where you got the water from. Humidity, moisture in the earth, the huge water fountain outside the window, etc. But make it logical. You can't have a pool in the middle of a library or something like that.))
"Thanks Kit. . ."
Oak smiled, perhaps having a relative wasn't as bad as she thought after all. But that teacher. . .sold to a demon? Demons usually wanted humans. . .for their souls. She didn't see why a non-human would be wanted.

Azusa, not to be outdone by her sister, tipped out her drink bottle and crafted two swords, quickly deciding to engage them in a sword fight above the class's heads. Finally, she collided them to shatter the ice before collecting the shards and putting them back into her drink bottle.
"I'm Azusa, Kat's sister. And I would advise you not to pick on any of us here, since if my memory hasn't failed me, the demon you just insulted is related to Kitty."  

[Katagonia]

Kit tilted her head to the side, a small frown settled on her face. She opened her mouth to reply to the teacher, but was cut off by Kat.

"Thanks, miss . . . And I see what you mean about demons. They're a total pain the a**," Kat responded, ignoring her sister's next comment. "Crazy, annoying things, running around like they have their own right to be here . . ." She then focused on Azu's display of power. Nice. But those shards could have been dangerous, had they fallen on their heads.

Kit glowered at the back of Kat's head. What was her problem? So racist . . . "No problem, Oak." Azu's flashy display was something Kit temporarily admired . . . before realising that, had one of the swords messed up, the ice sword could have plunged through one of their bodies . . . Damn.

There was an ominous buzzing and then a CRACK as a cloud of smoke that smelt like burning hair exploding in the exact spot Kristen had last stood in before going back to the witch school.
"And another reason you all-" Kristen managed to cut herself off before saying anything too bad in the room that was certainly not where she's been yelling a moment ago.
"Meow. Meow." (You got us kicked out. Good work.) It was odd just how sarcastic a simple 'meow' could sound.
"Shut up you." Kristen looks around at the classroom and students and then looked at Tibis and then closed her eyes and then repeated the process. "Hmm."
"Meow." (They sent us back.)
"Hmm."
"Meow." (You're an idiot.)
"..." Kristen sighed slightly. "Whatever flea bag."
"Meow!" (I'll have you know I am very hygienic, unlike you!)
"Yeah yeah, now what do I do?"
"Meow?" (You really expect me to know?)  

[Katagonia]

Kat jerked in her seat as a loud cracking noise filled the air, and her jaw dropped upon seeing Kristen and Tibis now standing there. "What in the . . . Kristen?" She made an odd spluttering noise. "How are you here? You left! Now you're back! What?" She was now epically confused. It had been, in her mind, unanimous in thought that Kristen had just left them. And now she was . . . somehow back here?

Kit blinked as the smoke cleared, exposing Kristen the old Magic Control teacher and her cat, Tibis. Well. That was highly unexpected. The last time she had seen Kristen, she had stepped through a portal and not returned. It had been a bit disappointing, to say the least. But, they now had a new teacher and everyone was starting to get over the loss of Kristen and her cat. How was it that they so unexpectedly were now standing in the classroom? " . . . I'm confused," she muttered, more to herself than anyone else.

After clearing the smoke from her lungs by means of coughing, the students spotted their former teacher the witch.

Azusa groaned, remembering Kristens' hate for elves but still managed a small 'Welcome back to Gelder college'. Hopefully, her time away had changed her at least a small amount.

Oak on the other hand, grinned.
"Well, our teacher's back. I guess you're fired now. . .Bluepath."
A small portal opened and Lirica bolted out.
"NYA!. . ." (Hey look! They're back!)
"I know. Now switch to human so everyone else understands you." Oak picked up her cat and stuck her on the empty desk next to her.  

[Sain After Dark]

Kristen sighs as she looks around at the students. "Well, at least it's not the witch school."
"Meow." (You could try to be polite you know.)
"Oh shut it already."
"Meow." (No.)
Kristen opted to ignore Tibis rather then fight with her. Again. "Right, well I guess I'm teaching here again, either that or I'm going to have to sell Tibis in order to be able to live with no income."
"Meow!" (You can't sell me!)
"Whatever whatever, now, to work, does anyone know if I'm actually teaching this class or if I'm now unemployed?"
"Meow." (Moron.)  

[Katagonia]

Kat seemed to recover from her confusion a bit faster than Kit (either that or she just didn't want to talk), so she replied, still wondering what the witch schoool was. "Er . . . Not sure. But that chick up there -" she gestured behind Kristen to the elf "- was teaching in your place. I . . . really don't know what would be allowed in these particular . . . circumstances . . . Uhm. Yeeeah, I dunno."

"Meow." (You should probably apply for the job you know.)
"Please, I don't apply for jobs. If they want me they can ask me. Otherwise I'll..."
"Meow?" (Live on the streets?)
"Shut it." Kristen looked around again and sat on the teachers chair, not really caring that it was fairly rude considering that she was quite likely getting the current teacher, who was still in the classroom, the sack.
