It had been atleast five hours since Beyond birthday had committed the last murder. He had, as usual, drugged the victim, replaced the door knobs with locked doors, and dusted everything in the room whether he touched it or not.The death of Backyard Bottomslash was due to an expirementation of internal hemorrhaging.Although this attempt failed,it gave him his answer. He severed the left arm and right leg, tossing the leg in the tub of the bathroom, and taking the arm somewhere unmentionable.Beyond Birthday had went back to his hideout in the west part of L.A,cleaned up,and proceeded to Believe Bridesmaid's apartment, his first victim that had started this case."Let us see if your "pawn" is worthy of serving you,L."He murmured under his breath. (( You could have let me know whether or not we started man :/ ))

L scanned multiple documents, holding them between his thumb and index fingers. There were millions of murders per day. None of which were considered particularly odd or beyond the minimal comprehension of the police. None of them had a challenge. He threw the last group of papers to his right. They hit the ground with a thud next to lists of documents he had already scanned. Bored and looking for work, L turned to his computer to find the most recent serial killer cases. Those always allowed for possible interest.
The FBI had an entire unit dedicated to this work. Upon examining the data, he found one case that stood out. It was in Los Angeles. The incriminatory evidence was virtually non-existant. The body was on full display in the house. It was surrounded by four dolls, one per wall. The door was somehow locked from the inside, and there were no prints anywhere inside the house. The crime screamed, "I'm intelligent, and the police can't catch me."
L thought for half a second and came to a quick conclusion. It was a male, with a frail physique, careful, a likely IQ of 196, and had experience with the Japanese. He was an individual who felt unaccomplished, worked hard, possibly had OCD, and got no attention by the people they care about, assuming they care about anyone. L figured this in about .5694 seconds without even looking at the crime photographs or the victimology report. L's curiosity was peaked, but he needed a walker, a person to visit the crime scene for him. He looked at the list of law enforcers in the immediate area. He needed an intelligent and obedient someone with many resources but no attatchment to the facility for which they worked.

"Watari, Please obtain a list of all current agents in the FBI right now." "Right away sir." L was staring at a sheet of paper while biting a thumbnail. He had sped-read it three times already and he wasn't actually looking at the paper anymore. He was formulating a hypothesis.
Why was the door locked? Was he using a key? No. The bedrooms had knobs without keyholes. What about the significance of names. The first victim had unusual initials. B.B. The next victim had the the initials of QQ. The third death was B.B. If the pattern was continued, the next murder would have a Q.Q. But that was too simple. No, this killer was much more complex. If it was a ruse for police it could be used for distraction. It is difficult to find any person let alone a child with no record with double initials. He had created a near impossible crossword puzzle that had even stumped L for a good few hours before completion. He had created a code in Roman numerals. He dusted for prints and never had a scratch from his victims. Then there were those dolls. They suggested someone from japan, being the only cultural location to have them, though the internet brought widespread interest in cultures, and thus availability. The methods of the kills were different each time. The genders however were not. There was no sexual implications of the crime, as in DNA evidence was not found at all. It would seem that this criminal had a riddler like day persona.
L stopped biting his nail and instead was using his thumb to push his bottom lip to the side. He thought, "Several questions come to mind when confronting a case of this complexity. Who is the next victim, How is he locking the doors, How does he find names, what is his cultural connection to Japan, and what was the significance of initials. He had heard of B.B. before. He was a child living at the orphange L went to as a child, but he was miles away from Los Angeles. What were the odds that a person conditioned to solve crimes kills miles away for absolutely no purpose but to confuse the police? To calculate I must use the statistics of the initals used in correlative order, use a statistic profile of B.B.'s character, and consider the depth at which the criminal used to conceal his identity. It is about 68%. That is too high to ignore but too low to depend on. If I am going to get any further evidence I need crime scene reconstruction. I need an agent."
