what kind of gaia deeds are good deeds?

For example, being nice to people in Arenas. Or if I see somone on your profile thanking you for for something.. that mean's you've done something nice for someone else 3nodding

oo..i see...well i did all kinds of stuff, donated some, gave free avi art...but i usualy don't get back thanks....my profile doesn't really get visited :-<

im a new member so im new to this but i donate when i can i have thanks on my profile comments a lot and i love to help kids that are sick by donating evrytime at walmart and i open doors for people toevry month i donate up to 30k a month and would greatly appreciate doing it again

^^ you're doing something nice^^ i'm trying to donate to people not only on gaia but in real life too. but i always have some things i stumble upon.. in real life i'm just a girl who hopes to get into really good highschool and then on summer hopes to get a part-time and on gaia i'm friendly girl who spends lots of money helping each other by buying they're stuff or donating or givin advaces.. redface i hoped i would be modest but it just slliped.. well i know that if you donate even a little the person who receives it will be more optimistic and happy and maybe that thing will impulse the persone to donate to others who need it^^

u say that people that do good deeds get a prize...so then every one tries to get ur attention by telling u everything that they've done for others... but, what about u? ur the one who is doing the good deeds.... do people donate to u? or r people to excited about, maybe, getting something that they forget to think about u? ....no ofense to any one who reads this...

well lawliet you're right.. some people do forget about the ones that donated to them. maybe even i have forgot about them but most of the people that donated to me are my friends know.. and even if they don't say thnx or donate to you, it remains the feeling that you did a good thing and helped someonbe in need..

yes, that would be considered a good deed, but there are other ways you can do nice things too. For instance, I use to stalk the avatar arenas looking for people who left nice or constructive comments eventhough everyone else were saying terrible things like "this is the worst cosplay i have ever seen!!" stuff like that.

That's really nice of you, and that is actually the reason I decided to so this in the first place. I am hoping *crosses fingers* that by doing something like this, more people will be encouraged to do nice things for others, even if it's a small thing, and not because I'm giving out good prizes, but because it is something they want to do. I'm just here to give that little push *hopefully* or the be that reminder that it's not hard to do those things.

You're right lawliet, not everyone appreciates it, but I don't mind. Most people say "Thank you," and really do remember you. Others don't even think twice. Before I did this contest thread, I would just go around gaia stalking people looking for people who did nice things and randomly giving them a gift. I probably didn't hear back from a third of the people, but I don't need that.

I know that I'm doing something good and that's enough for me. Don't get me wrong, donations are greatly appreciated. It helps me save time since I don't have to sit here and do puzzles to earn enough gold by the end of the week (that's what I did before booty grabbing existed)!! But so far they have been gifts from me, just me, and that is pretty cool.

Nothing was wrong with them! I use to love doing them until I would do the most difficult puzzles and then it would glitch and not give me any gold. It was frustrating because I was trying to earn gold for prizes that way! hehe
