I totally agree with you that the end of the ball is bittersweet. 3nodding It's like graduation, or the last performance of a play, or something. But it was fun while it lasted!

It was definitely fun, but I know what you mean. At least we can start planning the new ball. I was selected to be on the ball committee this year about ten minutes after they announced the new main host, so I'm glad about that. Last year, I wasn't chosen for any of the committees eventhough I really butted into all of them after they slowed down to a trickle. I wasn't on the fundraising committee, but I still managed to pull off two art auctions! I wasn't on the plot committee, but I still helped write half the plot! I wasn't on the advertising committee, but I helped organize our only advertising thread. xd At least this time, I won't be butting in. It feels nice to go into the ball, knowing that I'm suddenly one of the MVPs. blaugh

Pies have been thrown and eaten. Ian & Rufus ate the most pies! Remember to go to the event page so that you get your item! No matter which team you supported you get an item. Don't know if it's different items for each team. I can say that Ian & Rufus supporters get a cape! The main thing is that the event was fun! It also helped in that this time you didn't need to spend your gold in order to partake.
Gaia could be a little quiet at the moment because many are getting ready for the start of school or have already started. Hopefully, after they get into the groove of their new schedule they will be back.

Everyone else got the same item. I can't remember what it was called, but it was a face for when you eat too much pie. It's pretty amusing. heart Anyway, I'm really happy that Ian won. If he were a real guy, he'd be my new boyfriend. xd
I would like for things to pick up as well. I've been down in the dumps quite a bit recently, and I need laughter to keep me going.
