Hopefully I'll be seeing it soon. I'm almost finished with a few projects I was working on. The one that I'm sure all of you will be most interested in is that I'm throwing a Japanese style festival for the summer event. Sure, I know it's been slow in here, but I hope that everyone will come back and enjoy it. It should be ready in just a couple days. All that is left really is to make graphics to make the thing look pretty. heart

Thanks for the compliment. biggrin I'm also working on an art auction for the annual ball. The one I did before was for two of the rooms. This time, I'm organizing something for everyone else for the general funds. It's pretty much gravy at this point, but I thought that we should have a ball-wide "official" fundraiser of some sort. Half of our funds this time have been donations. That's not a bad thing, but I would really like to see the financial burden of ball taken off the hands of the staff. Oh! Btw, your art from Paradox is halfway through. You should be getting it sometime next week. She said that she has to finish finals before she can finish the rest. 3nodding

I dunno really. xD I guess I've had better things to waste my time on... Well probably not. I have two job interviews this week, so hopefully I'll get one of those jobs. I've been trying too long and hard not to get one of those. If not, I'll take my chances subbing and just hope that I can work a couple times a month. Guess what! I have the Japanese Summer Festival in final form! heart I just want to go through and make sure that there are no lingering bugs, and then I'll launch it Sunday night. I think I might even hurry and try to add an RP because people have been talking about wanting one.

I have the guild summer event ready to launch, but I'm wondering if everyone would prefer to have it start after the pie event. Then again, feeding NPCs pie with your own gold can get old fast. So, do you think we should start now or wait? Let me know and I will do whichever you prefer. 3nodding

xp I know! That's why I haven't done the pie event AT ALL. Because I'm trying to SAVE my gold for items that *I* want! If I decide I want the event items, it'll be cheaper in the long run to just buy them in the marketplace.

It's definitely another gold sink event. I think the purpose is supposed to reduce the rate of inflation, but that's not going to happen as long as people keep winning more gold in booty grab than they're spending in the gold shops. It's a problem. confused At least it's better than the Christmas gold sink event. I'm actually participating in this one. I know it's stupid, but I have this compulsion to finish events and get every achievement and prize. It's a sickness. blaugh
So, do you want to go ahead with the guild event or do you want to wait until the pie event is over?

Speaking of the pie thing...I think I have blown 30000 gold on that event! What was I thinking? I sold everything in my house, sold all the stuff from off my cars, and sold all the really good stuff I had in my inventory...for what? Next year, I don't think I will do that again! All I really have in my inventory now is nickel and dime stuff that doesn't sell well in the marketplace! I must have had a gross lack in judgement as well as a humongous brain fart!

blaugh I'm just the opposite. I'm kind of a miser with my gold and ESPECIALLY with my good items--particularly The Lusty Scroundrel, Imaginary Friend, and The Jolly Time Traveler! (The first two were gifts; The Jolly Time Traveler was something I saved up for and bought myself.)
@Chibi: I know--I love the rankings under our names when we post in the guild! It makes me feel all important and stuff (something I rarely get to experience in real life!). whee
